Photoshop Generative Fill WOW!

I wanted to test out Photoshops new Beta version Generative fill with what I thought was a massively complicated task.
Turns out it wasn't complicated at all.
I am literally blown away!

Absolutely crazy stuff, Jasin! Next level these days. A great tool to have access to when necessary. Yet at the same time, it isn't doing your job for you as it still takes your telent and experience to have captured the moment on a fast paced set in the first place. A good balance to help work smart! Great vid!

Absolutely and I can also do it instead of relying on the lab having to figure out what needs to go.

years of learning how to , has now made everyone on a similar level , but as you said you use it as an enhancement tool .my fav is extending certain images to give an amazing result . It can only improve im sure. I had a room which needed extending to give it more appeal , it just made it bigger room with walls and dirt and heaps of work it saved me so much time.

I have also been working with generative fill on current project, down side is am spending too much time in post 😉, but also blown away by what I can take away / clean up !

Thanks again Jase for showing us one of your images... Agree, quite amazing!!! I think Adobe have done a great job finding the balance. This will definitely be a game changer for us Stills Photographers. Live on set, I won't need to worry so much about zooming in so close to the actors to avoid equipment / crew etc. This will also speed up processing time, sending off edits / deliverables too. Another tool in our tool box! Cheers mate.

Yeah James so good for us to tidy up our images. I did a test with crew reflected in a window and it’s amazing!

@@JasinBoland I didn’t know if your shots are used for continuity purposes in which case the crew would probably want un processed pictures. I know so little of your job but find it fascinating. My questions maybe are a bit dumb.

Mate...this blows me away...like you I am not a photoshop guy or retoucher...but this is making me think. Obviously there are BTS that we compose for with crew and gear in the shot...but this can make a shot we really want clean but because all the obvious reasons cant get when when we are shooting it. I can see how it would be especially helpful in action sequences....hmmmm!... BTW the E2 shots coming out are awesome.

Pretty impressive Jason! The art of using this AI power is using it with discretion and restraint. Being old school I have yet to try it for myself in case I don’t have that restraint!😂 👍🏾🙏🏾

I think we're living in a really exciting time where we can use this as a fantastic tool to elevate our shots, I've already used it on a few shoots where I would usually have to send the shot off to a retouch artist. I think it's also exciting to remember, this is the worst this technology will ever be, it's only going to get better from here.
