they said they didnt want to do heavy breakdown stuff because the message means so much to them they had to put as much feel as they could and to me it feels like it did have so much feel, the anger, the punch yet still so much sadness in their country at this point, the song compliments the point they want to get across flawlessly like they wanted, couldnt be more proud of the boys🔥🔥

Sounds like you're describing Lorna Shore to me. Their songs don't have much blatant variation. The rewards tend to only pay off to the most keen of listeners. Slaughter, however, jumped between different variations of metal through each song. There's easily accessible rewards for the listener.

@@rebel107 i might be, cause lorna is one of my favourite bands, but i have listened to bands like Attila, slipknot, korn, paleface, ov sulfur and others that have a sound that you hear and are like "hey thet reminds me of ___________". But at the same time lots of bands sound very similar unless you listen to them nonstop.

Ash Avildsen, the founder and CEO of Sumerian Records which is the label Slaughter to Prevail is currently signed to, is Ukrainian and wrote something really heartfelt in the comments section of the official music video for this song. The link to their music video is in this video's description and I encourage everyone to check it out for themselves. However, Ash essentially said he's against boycotting and the censorship of his labels music being available in Russia. By what he said, you can also tell that he and the band have mutual respect for one-another. Judging by what other fans have said, it sounds like the band knew how special 1984 was on a personal level, and you can definitely tell when comparing it to their usual sound. I respect them for writing something unique to emphasize the lyrical content, instead of taking the easy route and treating it as though it were business as usual.

I love how STP is doing their own thing and paving the way to something other than just Death-Core, probably the best way to describe their new sound is if Death-Core had a baby with Groove-Metal and sprinkle in a little bit of Gojira and Slipknot, and I'm freaking here for it 🤘🖤🤘🖤🤘🖤

@Dragon Ball fans can't read Early 2000's Children of Bodom, Arch Enemy, Gojira, Disturbed, Slipknot, Lamb of God, Korn. This is the era of metal I grew up in and it was awesome but this era has great music too! What happened in the 80's and 90's is not the same as Early 2000's or now. We have the internet those eras didn't. It's alot different today but for metal it's still awesome.

This sounds like if Slaughter to Prevail covered While She Sleeps. Although it's a good song, I don't know if it's a song I'd be having on loop. I do appreciate the work put into it though.
