Everyone is talking about how he does it so quickly with the covers. It’s called having perfect pitch. He can hear and know every note by ear. It’s a phenomenal ability

Charlie Havner perfect pitch helps, but if you transcribe music everyday (as I do) then it’s not that hard. The trick is to transcribe enough to develop a really quality aural understanding of sound. I transcribed the tune while in my car. Not too hard man.
