Dear LORD Alex can SCREAM his ASS off. Saw him at Blue Ridge, man they fucking ROCKED. Alex is a down to earth motherfucker too, he wasn't all uppity with "oh I'll only see fans at meet and greet" - hell no. He was OUT THERE WITH US, he was in the PITS with US, he was there TALKING TO US without charging us EXTRA, he showed he is just as BIG A FAN as WE ARE for metal. And the other cool thing is he'd have death metal screaming competitions with SO MANY OF US. The other cool thing about Alex was at Blue Ridge, he spoke on stage and was thankful to be there and spoke out against war and was saying basically how he didn't like any government, doesn't like how governments treat their people and didn't approve of the stupid invasion of Ukraine. I think the way that Nik does it, with how he titles this series, making a completely original song, and by clearly stating that he is making a song in their style at the beginning of the video, shows that he's doing it out of respect and love for the bands and not to "rip them off" to try to get a bunch of views quickly. The fact that he also makes quality songs as the end product also shows that he's putting in tons of effort to make something well worth listening to.

It's actually lyrics from "vot eto da!" by Vladimir Vysotsky. It was originally written for a movie, where a man, fearing nuclear war and other contemporary problems, does everything to secure a ticket to a "salvatorium" that would make him wake up 250 years later and avoid all of that, but has a dream where he wakes up to a devastated world, realises that the time skip won't solve anything and decides against it last moment. The lyrics are actually really beautiful, but I don't think there is a good way to translate them
