at the same time it's normal before joining Make Them Suffer Alex was formerly the singer of the band "Drown This City" it's something I discovered at the end of the year last year and I think it's really worth it worth checking out because this band is absolutely killer and Alex has an absolutely beautiful and phenomenal voice at the same time 🤘🔥

Saw it live in Adelaide a couple of nights ago and it was INSANE live. They supported BMTH and Sleep Token, yeh it was epic, and Oli gave MTS a huge shoutout stating "That band will be fuckin' massive". I'm so glad they are really picking up some fans after a decade of the grind!

Nik you got me on Make Them Suffer with one of your try not to headbang video's ane since then I went through their whole discography and just fell in love. From Neverbloom to How To Survive a Funeral and all the singles they quickly become one of my favorite bands. I can't help but love everything they releas, but nothing hits like Old Souls or Worlds Apart for me. Those 2 albums will always be my go to, so it was nice to hear elements of those albums in this new single. Really excited to see what else they have in store this year!

Will admit, sleep token musically were great but the complete lack of any interaction with the crowd sort of muted the experience. They need to lean into the mythology of the band or something to make it more engaging. Then you get a masterclass of lead singer, interaction with oli sykes

If I am being completely honest, I zoned out during one of the song at the end. They are still amazing though, but they just need that little something to keep you a bit more captivated. But yeah, Oli's stage presence is just second to none!

Short but sweet, yet this is one of the best songs I've heard in a while. I love MTS, they're up there with Northlane when it comes to making some cool metalcore music. This band never released a bad song ever since Worlds Apart (2017). And yes, they are bringing that trance-core back! And I'm here for it. Giving me the Stand Up And Scream Vibes all over again. One personal criticism of mine about this song I will say was the initial chorus drop in your face and then it repeating itself to the point it was a little repetitive (like Nik said they could have maybe added something in between those spaces and do some a little different or unique). Other than that it’s a solid banger to me👍🏾

i bet this isnt even along your typical vein, but I heard you mention admiring the synthy/symphonic sound followed by low screams and typical metalcore, and I immediately thought of the newest Starset song that just released. Usually I wouldnt mention Starset here as they've usually only got half a foot in the door of metal genres but their newest song went all in.

I was the tiniest bit let down with the fact that this song doesn't have a crazy breakdown or something in the middle (like you mentioned) but honestly, we all know that MTS can absolutely BRING IT when they want to and I don't actually think every single one of their songs needs that. It would end up being way too formulaic. Songs like this still go HARD and it's good that they have some variety
