It amazes me that there’s people bidding from other states and never come check the car/ trucks out beforehand. You have to pick it up if u win anyway.Especially in this condition at copart or a IAA.

There are bidders from Europe and Africa as well. Copart can arrange shipping internationally, so you just pick it up at a port of your liking and arrange the paperwork online and at the port. All calculated risks

I wonder if overseas bidders pay someone at the auction to checkout the condition of vehicles their interested in prior to the auction? Or obtain a video of run and drive

They have someone local at the yard to do a walkaround with video. Labor cost are really low in the countries that bid on it, as well as the parts needed. They fix it and sell it in a rich country in Europe with a big profit. It’s usually the high dollar cars.
