Jokic is a generational talent, he broke the mold, is an amazing ambassador of the game, isn't a narcissistic sociopath team jumper/super-team creator that takes actual goats to Diddy Parties, & has made an ass of himself 1x on the court - not 70x+/year since 2009. He doesn't have to create a talent agency to manipulate the public narrative, he doesn't have to collude with other top 10 players, there aren't multiple allegations of PED use + circumstantial evidence tying him to Biogenesis, his wife doesn't have to beg the ESPYs to respect him/call him the GOAT, & is undisputably the best overall player since Kobe/Shaq, & maybe even Mike. The Big Equestrian is already a legend.

They LITERALLY changed the rules of the NBA because Wilt was dominating too much No one could compete so they had to change the RULES

If luck comes into play and he gets 3 rings with the same team. As far as my top 10 players go he's top 3. As far as best/ability/level of game wise he's already in that top 5. He does what he's doing in every era.
@pfpchad27472 күн бұрын
Have you seen the play of his supporting cast? Nuggets are failing Jokic. There's no way they can win 3 rings with Jamal playing like he's been since last playoffs. MPJ is playing well but with Jamal's poor play and a bad bench, Nuggets aren't going far. Jokic might have to request a trade to win more rings.
@Jiturra012 күн бұрын
@pfpchad2747 I've seen bigger turnarounds. A year or two can change a lot. I think the Nuggets GM has to go tho, or ownership has to spend their way out of his mistakes. Nuggets could trade Joker theoretically also before his contract is up and possibly start a new chapter there.

What makes what Jokic is doing even more incredible is he's playing in one of the golden ages of bigs in NBA history, contrary to what some casuals think. Embiid, Giannis, Anthony Davis, KAT, Rudy Gobert, Wemby, Sabonis, Bam, Holmgren, etc. The list is long. Virtually all these guys are far more skilled than most of the bigs of the past.
@CESAR154__2 күн бұрын
“Golden age” 😂😂😂 Giannis and Embiid sure but they are in the East. The rest of those guys you listed are unskilled trash other than Wemby, but he’s not in his prime yet. Duncan, KG, Dirk, and Shaq would eat this generation up for breakfast.

leading their teams to championships...emphasis on the s... should be one of the biggest criteria when judging greatness.... you can have all the skills but can't lead your team to championship doesn't do it for me... you'll just be AI or Melo...all the talent but can't lead their teams to the ultimate goal.

@@arthurreyes2632 he has a lot. They're just not particularly close, so you don't think much of them. No competition, amplifies his peak case unless they stopped making 7 footers.
@tompratt71252 күн бұрын
What? So Embiid--an MVP, Karl Anthony Towns, Rudy Gobert (4x defensive player of the year), Anthony Davis (among the top 75 players ever), Victor Wembenyama, Damontis Sabonis (multiple time all nba), Bam Adebayo, Chet Holmgrean, etc, etc aren't 'competition' at the center position? All of these guys are all nba caliber players. In fact, this is one of the golden ages of centers in league history with all these guys far more skilled than centers of even 15 years ago. Think before you write.
