"I have never stopped loving you." Nikolas Cassadine. I think that when Tyler returned that the writers and the powers that be wanted him to be boring and aimless and I thought that this storyline with Gia, Princess Sparky shows Nikolas in a storyline with some depth and direction and for once someone asks Nikolas if he's okay and how he's coping. Lucky, Liz and Laura never really ask him that here and Emily seemed to think that they had a similar childhood when they didn't. All Nikolas wanted was for someone to put him first and Gia gave him that and more.

From what I remember, Emily was adopted by the Quartermaines when she was like 10 because her biological mother died of breast cancer. It was sad, but not the same as a parent abandoning a child like Laura did Nik and Gia's father did her.

@@nianikgia8432 It was sad that Emily's biological mother died but, I don't think that loss affected her like the loss of a parent did for Nikolas and Gia. Nikolas and Gia both work hard and feel like they have to prove themselves to others and that's also part of why they connect on such a deep emotional level that Nikolas just doesn't with anyone else even Emily.

​@@joanmiller1910I agree 100 percent and this is still his best storyline and Gia is the love of his life. Trina and Nikolas are the closest thing that GH has today.
