I’m sure that would discourage any shooter with a “powerful AR” How about instead of scaring the public with testimony they put fear into the hearts of the killers instead? Why do they only teach schools Sex Ed to ensure population doesn’t grow, instead of also teaching firearm safety to save lives? Because more people die from accidents using firearms than shootings. But people also die from cars way more. Even fists kill more people. My point is that showing an entire world of strangers the pain of grieving parents and how effective these firearms are at defense to invoke fear and entertainment is wrong. Some of those left their guns in bathrooms and common areas kids would be around multiple times. A kid would now have access to a gun if they stole the gun. Don't even think about arming the teachers cause it would also be easy for a kid to steal it from the teacher. There has already been a teacher that brought a gun into school and barricaded his classroom, just suiciding basically. The students and staff members didn't see any changes in behavior and the posts leading up to it was happy, inspiring, quotes or comments. People snap for one reason or another. It should be that we pull back on gun manufacturing, Take away the unnecessary weapons you can legally buy right now, better access to therapy or physiatrists and stricter gun laws. Cause we make more guns then our whole population, and you can buy a grenade launcher and flame throwers.
