Here is your FREE Tutorial User's Guide for the Nikon D750. What you'll find in this 43 min long video is an explanation of what every button does as well as what setting in the menu I recommend. This is a very powerful camera with a ton of features so I make sure to run down and explain as many of the important features as possible.

Jared Polin Your "cake ingredients" analogy is an exceptional and very clever way to describe RAW vs JPEG. It is madness that we have many well read photography blogs claiming JPEG is the way to go. Sort of like Ken Rockwell saying a D3200 is as good as the D4S minus a few buttons - lol! Thanks JP!

Just made it to the 11 minute mark and let me say I appreciate you just identifying the buttons and functions by name, and how much we might use them. The user manual is a lot to sift through so it helps to hear what things I'll be primarily working with so I don't spend my energy reading about features that I might not be using right now. Someday it would be nice to know all that but I can only absorb so much info at a time!

Thank goodness for this video! I took my two main Canon bodies in for cleaning during the holidays and was asked to shoot a bridal session last minute. I have a Nikon d750 that I have never used and had NO IDEA how to use it! Watched this video and now I feel pretty confident about using it for this session. I know it will be a little more slow going than being used to my 5D M3+4 but I am okay with that!

I think the D750 is and will prove to be one of the best cameras ever in relation to price/value/picture quality/functionality. 24 pixels, tilt screen, superb focusing system, wifi, this is very well balanced product. And I just got one three weeks ago. So far so good, but I have not used it enough to say much more yet. But this is my gut feel so far.

Easy ISO is just that you can change the ISO by using the dial... Not sure if anyone has commented on that. Switching from Canon and found this video very useful. I hate going through the user manual and usually take a while to get through it. Thanks for taking the time to go through all the settings. Actually hearing someone talk about them makes it easier to remember them.

Btw, in case you didn't end up figuring it out, easy ISO is for when you're in aperture priority mode, etc, and you just use one of the dials to change ISO instead of pressing the button and turning the dial together.

HI The best settings i found on the 750 it´s that you can change aperture upp and down with pv and fn when you recording or watch in live view. In menu g1 and g2. I´m not a movie guy but.. I love you're review, keep upp the good work. xxx Tjeno

Hey smart people - is there a way to embed "virtual horizon" info aka the tilt and angle of our camera in to the metadata? I'd love it if my camera could record the angle the camera was at when shooting. I do 3d compositing so this would help when making mixing 3d elements in to the photo.

Am I missing something, or does the d750 AF-C Group area mode not do 3d tracking? In Jared's full d750 review video where he shot a football game, he said he was using the new group area af mode. On my d750, in AF-C and Grp mode set, I can move the group cluster around but I can't use it to track or with 3d tracking.

Hey Jared, A table of content with time codes would make it easier for someone, who knows most of the things you talk about in the beginning, to jump to the interesting parts. With such a long video it's easier to watch a part again later, too.
