I have the P1000 for 5 years. It is the best camera I can imagine. For €800, there can't be a better camera. I have always learned something from you.

I do most of my shooting handheld actually and the tripods I have are low end ones bought on Amazon!

Were all the photos in the video taken with this camera? 3:16 and 3:36 ?

The 2 photos you asked about were stock pictures to illustrate the scene effect since it was not feasible at that time to shoot at a beach or in the snow. All the rest of the pictures and videos were taken with the camera itself.

Unfortunately, I don't think the images at 3m00s are representative of "Beach" scenes - it's dusk, and the mode is for sun-drenched sand (and water?) environments. The later beach is a true "beach", though.

A korection to my objection: Beach mode allegedly also boosts blue colors. So in that sense, the 3m00s beach was an appropriate subject. Sorry about that.

P950vs p1000 which one is best all rounder

If you don't need the full 3000mm zoom, personally I like the P950 because its SOOOO much easier and more comfortable to lug around. The P1000 can get kinda heavy after a full day or carrying it. And you really need a tripod to get a good shot at 3000mm so I would personally pick the 950 if I had a choice unless I absolutely had to have the longest zoom possible. Otherwise they are almost the same camera.
