Really nice video Frederik! You might consider doing more detailed and extensive ‘How To’ videos and selling/ marketing them? 😊 I like how you superimposed the settings as you changed them on the smaller inset image of the camera! Nicely done! Friendly word of advice to any newcomers to Photography; just shoot and then shoot some more. The memory cards are cheap, and if you make mistakes, you can always delete the bad ones. ( Don’t delete in camera ). Another tip, if you are out and about, and don't have a fine incident meter like the Sekonic Frederik showed, and if you forgot or don’t have a gray card; simply meter off the palm of your hand, and increase the stop of light by about one stop, or maybe 2/3. That means, maybe 1/60 second, vs 1/125, or f4.0 vs f5.6. This comes from the old film days, and it works, even with Digital. Please check out his other videos. The Man knows his stuff, and is great teacher! 👍👍👍✌😊

It may be, but please judge it by the images produced and with the price bracket in mind and I think you will start to appreciate what a little gem this is.

It's magnesium alloy body, i have one and it feels metal all over expect few areas. It's weather sealed too. And this can't be fake cuz it's one of the highlighted feature my Nikon on their website.

So are you liking the Z50?
@frederikboving2 жыл бұрын
Yes is the short answer. All plastic and made in Thailand, so not like Nikon in the old days. A bit strange with the rear LCD that can flip down but not out. Other than that a great all round camera. Great video also. SUPERIOR ergonomics for such a small camera. I miss a USB-C connection for charging, but there is connector for external mic. I will make a review but have a few more videos lined up before I get to that. The review made by Gear Tech Talk is really good and I agree with him in most of what he says.

Steve, i don't think you can go wrong with the Z50? Just like Frederik said, the ergos are really good for such a small camera. First time I picked one up in hand at a store, I had to look, and see if it was a Z50, or a Z5! Big drawback, still, is the lack of ‘DX’ lenses for this camera! Are you listening Nikon??? They never really released the needed lenses for the DX DSLR ‘F’ mount cameras, and seem to be following suit with the Z mount? Yes, one can mount the full frame lenses, but it is not quite the same. Happy Shooting!

@@georgedavall9449 Thank you George - fully agree to the ergonomics - Nikon has some of the best ergonomics out there, a factor often overlooked by many. We spend so many hours with our cameras, that good ergonomics is key!
