Dallas is an absolute machine of technicality and writing killer riffs/songs. My favourite nile tracks are Dallas tracks. Nile will never be the same after his departure

The most amazing thing about this is not the technique or the speed (many good guitarists could REPEAT that)... This guy just finds notes and combines them in something so powerfull, dark and deep... unbelievable. As he creates, so they repeat... but it's totaly different :) RULES

whoever was hitting the dislike buttons on here obviously arent fucking guitarists.. this shit is amazing, any bastard should be happy to play half as damn good as these guys. For real

The playingability of these guys is just incredible. I often hear people talking of death metal as "pure noise". I wonder if they have a clue how extremely hard it is to play "noise" like this :D

man that is one brutal tone. wonder what tuning he uses? when i try to tune really low my strings get too floppy. i like that its pretty damn cool in my opinion. and im 41 yrs old but i like the heavy stuff. i can imagine myself at 70 years old trying my best to keep up with this. i try to write stuff like this and it never comes out the way i want it to. anyways peace out fellow metalheads.

@nokomisnichols I believe they use A or Drop A. You need some extremely heavy gauge strings to play this. (One idea is to use the heavier six out of a heavy set of strings meant for a 7-string guitar)
@ws6ta0114 жыл бұрын
dallas is my hero
@Herreken13 жыл бұрын
@nokomisnichols That's cool. I've always been too lazy to tune down and that kept me from learning some of my favorite songs. Recently, I started playing a 7-string guitar so that helps a lot. Yeah, it seems like Anselmo was the reason Pantera broke up.

This is maybe off topic but anyway. I've recently got obsessed with Nile n then Sir Dallas leaves right a way. He was the main lyricist n riff creator on the "newer stuff". I'm a big fan of history. Can someone recomend some documentarys of egyptology in the spirit of Nile?
