part of strongman is being agile and athletic. if you watch wsm, you'll know. and building those abs is part of strongman. eddie has never done any ab crunches or anything to build those abs specifically, those abs get build doing heavy heavy squats, deadlifts. these are some real abs.

@@thomasgoldthorpe1158 when bodybuilding at the scale he is, muscle can really limit your range of motion. a good example is the video that went viral of a bodybuilder about his size unable to reach a sticker on his back because of his limited range in motion and flexibility. a regular person who is in generally good shape probably has a better range of motion than him.

Yeah. I was very impressed by how athletic he was! Full respect! Just like fully armoured knights of old are thought of as very slow and cumbersome under all that armour weight but in reality, they were shockingly agile.

As a weightlifter I can confirm we do helluva lot athletic training. Jumping, body weight exercises, sprinting, floor exercise. Some of us can do a flip out of the cold and most of us are unbelievably fast, despite being rather heavy set/bulky.
