Hi Lathland. Thank you very much for this insightful letsplay. Helps us Devs a lot in making the game better! For this update we have added 3 "lava" planets. On the worldmap: The one which is yellow (growing and shrinking magma core), the one which is red (broken up planet with static magma core) and the one which is blue (sorry, strange color decision :), with corridors and growing magma core ). The blue one is the one you played first and has very strong terrain which you should not be able to dig through easily except the green-ish areas :) Thank you a lot for your videos

Hey... I've been following you since I randomly found one of your nimbatus videos. I'm one of the developers of Nimbatus. Thank you very much for pointing this out. This is something we haven't put a lot of thought into yet. I put it on our ToDo List to see if we can make it better -> different value/lightness and maybe different texture for each resource. Your feedback helps a lot

Markus Rosse oh thank you. I have the alpha and that's the one thing that has been bugging me except for me it's just the first and last resource.

Thank you for pointing it out more clearly. I have put it on our ToDo List. I also added, that we change the planet Icons on the worldmap, so that planet differentiation becomes easier (different shapes for different biomes). For the resources, I think different textures might be a way to go. Unfortunately, currently we're working on the (for us) most important update (gameplay-wise) so we will probably add these changes a bit further down the line. Please bear with us for the time being, as we're a small team and it's difficult to juggle all the things we have to do :) Thank you for your support and believing in us :)

Markus Rosse hey it's understandable, at least you are planning on something. That's more then some companies do :) Whenever you do get around on it and need to see if it works and such (with the huge variation in colourblindness) you can always ask around on the colourblind subreddit to see if it works with some screenshots or whatever. Just some thoughts :)

{and before you point it out, yes i am going way over the top and overthinking, but its interesting to discuss XD) a cryo flamer can be conceivable, its a spray weapon that ejects a highly endothermic chemical. its not "cold fire" but rather a freezing spray. the problem with a "spray of steel" is that if its in a solid state, how is it propelled? there are such things as plasma spray welders that feed metal wire through superheated plasma and ejected at over 30,000 degrees, but its molten spray, so it would be more or less "fire". not the same sense of fire as a flamethrower, but nonetheless, it would combust ANYTHING on the planet. if the weapon is a "kinetic flamer", kinetic implies a collision from a solid object. the best i can think of as a "kinetic flamer" is this molten metal plasma sprayer i guess XD
