This album was made during a time when Nina was planning to go solo. The music was done by the band in Germany and Nina added the vocals while she was in the States. The title of the album "Unbehagen" is also indicative of what was going on because it translates as "Ill-at-ease".

Their first band album is definitely one of the best things she did. If you don't mind, I would like to know what you think of Nico's music. For example this performance: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eX3TaKCnj8qJfMUsi=L2cXNdFmxP7bbTh2

@@MikeMacabre You know what? I can wait, Nico deserves more people reacting to her.

At the cover, Nina is very careful to point out that it is the devil, not Nina, stating "Gott is tot!" (=God is dead). I think with her background from East Germany (the church was repressed by the state), it maybe was a sort of rebellion by Nina against the Commumist State to be religious. This is only my own thoughts.
