Yes, your comments are Perfect. The so called wannabes of Today are Pathetic and will not be remembered by the end of the week/let alone end of the month or 6 months. We just have to Demand that today-s artist find something original of their own unique Qualities and learn how to play the instruments.

I bought my 1st Nina Simone vinyl LP in 1969. There wasn't any kind of music that she couldn't sing & she pretty much remained true to herself throughout her career. She had a voice and an attitude, and could accompany herself on the piano pretty damn well. Too few of us had the opportunity to see her live; buy as much of her stuff as you can to keep her w/ you.
@chadjariya11089 жыл бұрын
The unpolished genuinity of her singing and the emotion through her music makes her performance captivating(in my opinion). People commenting about how she yells at the mic monotonously probably don't get this.

When I was a little girl we live in France right outside of Paris. my parents were the after party people, and after a set at the club they would come come home and everybody would come with them. Miss Nina one of those people I remember her saying in my mom had a beautiful voice and everything together they just have a good time and I remember I was little girl so I would be sitting on the steps watching from above what a wonderful wonderful memory this brings back. its amazing when God given gift to someone and they use it in a way that expresses everything and still all these years later we can still feel it.music is about interpretating feelings.so that said could you please please please tone down the dumb stuff.or better yet just keep it to yourself I'd just as soon not listen to it or read it.

@@dianasj Nah, her comment stands. The point is that Nina Simone did not put in all the work that she did just to have ONE song reduced to "that Christian Grey" song. Nina is, as Kristin said, an ICON and should not be lumped in with that lousy movie.
