Nina, thank you for sharing these 2022 trends! I honestly liked all of them, they all looked rather elevated. I gravitate towards European inspired interiors; therefore, the use of beige, noble or natural materials and architectural elements really attract me. I love the sleek "rustic", that would be as rustic as I would go :-). Black and white photography will never go out of style because it's very artistic and a staple of good taste. The colorful maximalism is a little intimidating, but it's still elegant if done well.

This is such a great take on what’s really trending in 2022. I am studying fashion and retail trends and it’s crazy how we incorporate some of the same things in retail designing. Love the video and all the great insights. The only one I struggle with is the no kitchen, kitchen that works in mansions that have butlers kitchens and massive pantries. In sub 3k square foot homes that would be a challenge for storage. Love the sculptural furniture and glad we are moving away from boring boxes.

Natural wood panels on the walls are here to stay "at least for 2022." For those of us who can't afford to change our trends every year, forget trends and live with what you love. I laugh at these "trends" that are unaffordable except for the upper 1%. How many of us have the room to plant a tree (or three) in our homes? The recommended paint color and the b/w photography were the only "trends" affordable to the masses. Thanks for the laughs.
