Nine Inch Nails - The Becoming | FULL COVER

Hey everyone! We're a little late getting this video out this week, but this weeks video needed a little extra work to really make it something. See, this weekend is the 30th anniversary of one of my favourite albums of all time, The Downward Spiral by Nine Inch Nails. This one has played a large role in my life, and I wanted to celebrate it a bit by doing a full cover of The Becoming!
Now I'm gonna say it right away: I had to tune the shit out of my vocals for this one. I am not a singer, but this song deserved an actual vocal performance of some kind. And since I was the one doing the vocals, it also meant this song was gonna need Melodyne. Just being honest, not gonna just lie and be all like, "oh look I can also sing." Because no, not really. Not yet anyways.
Anyways, we're rocking a pair of KORG devices on this track, the Drumlogue and Monologue making up a good portion of the rhythm section. On top of that we're also doing the regular guitar and bass thing, with a fun little improvised solo after the chorus. At least, I think you can call it a chorus. It's not a exactly what one would call a conventional song.
