Every spring Dave Sheek puts in big miles before heading off to the prestigious gravel events like Unbound. But life is about finding balance and when the snow starts to melt in the Eastern Sierra, he always finds himself exploring the high country before the mountain passes are accessible to everyone.
The plan for the day was to use every type of e-bike Niner has to offer and gather a crew of local shredders, Peyton Lee and Nate Smith, to pedal for an adventure. Riders started at 7,000 feet of elevation and climbed 10 miles up to 10,000 feet before jumping to split boards. Hiking into the hills and sliding on the edge of Yosemite National Park, turned out to be one more good reason for owning an e-bike.
We love when adventures are only accessible to those willing to pedal, damn it.
