Hi. But Your L1R4, I think it should be 8-2=6 and Your L1R5 should be 11-2=9 after the 2 CCA bonus points from your CCA. I also took 2022 O Levels Results and I expected 19 points and below for my L1R4 and I also remembered before the release of my O Levels Results Day, I told some of the people that I want to score 19 points and below for my L1R4, and I really did get both 18 points and 19 points for my L1R4 as my L1R4 has 2 number scores and I also got 22 points for my L1R5.

Hi just a few questions, You take pure chem or combined chem? Need some help and advice for combined chem How to not make careless mistakes in math? I literally got an f9 for it in wa1 when i would have gotten b4 had it not been for my careless How do i improve on el compre and compo? Do i need to read books and watch some movies to improve on el? And lastly,how should i go abt on improving l1r5 from a 45 to a much lower score in os from a sec 5(so same batch as you last year) Anyways congratulations on your l1r4 and 5 and i wish you atb in your poly course! OKOK LEMME ANSWER !! 1) i take pure unfortunately :( !! chem is one of my worst subjects and i'm completely serious when i say that i failed almost the whole year and my highest was a c6 🥹 i genuinely don't know what to tell u here i dont even know how it happened 2) CARELESS MISTAKES SUCK bruh but i feel you tbh i lost 20 marks due to careless before 😭 i think for me i just focused on REALLY READING THE QN PROPERLY and like copying down the equation EXACTLY and neatly bc most of my careless mistakes stem from me misreading the qn or my equations 😭 if you have time left after you finish, THEN PLZ CHECK CHECK CHECK again redo the qns if you have to, put it into your calculator and see if you still get the same ans 🥹 3) EL is insane tbh but imo books really helped me since pri sch because it made me interested in eng - i used to suck genuine balls at compre i failed every compre test i had last year 😭 usually it's because of my summary or the specific words that i missed out ?? they gave an english workshop on compre (which i didnt pay attention to my b) but i remember a tip the teacher said!!! she said for summary, using synonyms is very very tricky and it's better to simply rephrase the sentence and change the word forms! so eg: 'complicated' to 'complication' and i think that helped me q a lot bc im real bad at synonyms for compo! depends on what kind of question you usually write? i usually go for argumentative (the do you agree qn)!! in my head it feels kind of like a debate and that i'm trying to convince someone of a point - in my compos i do a lot of (as my teacher says) "switching off the lights" ? so if the qn is "tech is useful, do you agree" id write something like "what if we lived in a world without tech?" or something like that !! too much can be too speculative, but it's worked out quite well for me so far! just make sure to explain your reasoning very very step by step and follow the reader through your process of thinking and i think it should be ok!! another part is vocab of course 😭 it's q hard to learn vocab but the thing i do before eng compo is that i'll sit at my desk and research like a list of 10 hard complicated words that i think i might use in the exam!! like eg: deleterious which is basically a synonym for destructive! i write them out on a notebook with their meanings under them and i make it a point to try to use at LEAST one of them in my essay (don't try to force sentences tho bc they probably can tell 😭 just go w the flow and if the word fits, it fits!) and i think that helped my case a little ! also tip i went on spotify to those vocab podcasts and they teach you super weird words so yeah thats what i did for o's HAHA (also if you're doing the narrative compo aka the story compo then try practicing on descriptions and vocab too! bc the reader needs to see exactly what you're writing in your head, the aim is to make the reader feel exactly what the protag is feeling!) 4) hmm i think for me i'd say to really really really polish ur strong subjects (and ur english bc thats really impt too) and still try your best to catch up with the not so good subjects - it's going to be hard and insanely annoying but you need as many subjects on your side as you can get !! if when the time comes you still have subjects that you've just been consistently doing not great at, THIS SOUNDS BAD BUT i'd just give up and focus on doing my utmost best for the subjects that im good at ?? like yes still try your best but dont get too beaten up over it !!!!! YOU CAN DO IT OKAY THISBWAS REALLY LONG INHOPE IT HELPED i feel in no way qualified to give advice so take it with a grain of salt!!
