Our Battery said to charge it also. But we just fired the bike up. The next day it fired up but we let it run for a while also. The bike still fires up everyday on that same battery.

good explained. Just wanted to mention, that there is another variant at the european (german)market of the Ninja 250r. My Ninja has a second cap with cables on top of the battery cap, which you unscrewed. So, for my Ninja i first had to remove this top cap. This is done by hand, you dont need a screwdriver. Then, i had to unscrew the middle screw at the backside which you unscrewed as well. The two other screws at the left and right of the battery i could left inside. After unscrewed this single screw i continued like in your video: Pulling back the battery cap with their cable connectors and then unscrew the minus and plus pole.

Question, the instructions to my battery says to charge it after I fill it with the acid, I don’t have a charger, can I not charge it and my bike still work?

Good question. I do not know exact dimensions but I went to my local auto shop and they gave me the size I needed when I told them what motorcycle it was for.

I couldn't tell you the brand now but I did get the battery from Auto Zone. It was the only battery in stock that fit the bike.

I am not sure of the actual model of that battery. I went to my local auto store and this battery just happened to be the only one they had.

Just a PSA... this really wasnt a "how to" video, it was more like "this is how we did it" lol. And it was more for some comedy than anything. I have no clue about putting a battery on the ground. Never heard that 🤔

Stick to the bike videos! We diy mechanics need more guidance. Especially on Ninja 250, especially electrical connections
