At this past Awesome Games Done Quick, $1,025,000 was raised for the Prevent Cancer Foundation. It only took a week of continuous streaming, 18,000 donors, and many many runners to achieve. A big thanks to everyone responsible for these amazing numbers, what a humbling achievement. For comparison, last year's event raised just under $500,000.

"Swinging on those little round things is pretty hard..." Swinging on pretty much everything in this game is hard! Hahaha. I used to play the shit out of this game but it's super difficult to master the grappling hook... But it's really tight and intuitive and it's such a shame that more people don't know about it.

This is one of the games I want to try, but would prolly just have more fun watching it get played more. Which is why I'm glad I'm watching it now... plus the fact that it's expensive as well. It is cool looking though. I grew up with the Shinobi and Ninja Gaiden games. Though all the talking of the power levels is making me think of the weapon levels in Cave Story. I'm in the middle of playing that now after watching the run from it this year. >w

BUT WHY DOES FIVE-O REFER TO POLICE oh well I just googled it and got, basically: "From the old cop show Hawaii Five-O, sadly enough (which in turn got its name from the fact that Hawaii was the 50th state to join the union)." which is pretty dumb (but this game seems cool)
