I bought this as my first propane grill. It's been a fun, learning experience kzbin.infoUgkxCx5fHawkK9OoV-ojFrY8JLnZrFwAmvUt . I think it's a bit too pricey after looking at other grills, but it wasn't hard to put together and it works really well. I love the side burner option for heating food during a power outage. I have an electric stove and live in the South (Hurricane season), so this was a bonus. I also bought a cover for it and it has protected it nicely (the Char Broil All-Season Grill Cover 3-4 Burner: Large). Every few grill sessions, I take the rack (or grate) and burner covers off and clean them with a non-abrasive scrubby and mild soap. I wipe the excess off of the bottom as well, taking care to avoid the gas and pilot lines.

My toaster oven stopped working recently, and I was considering getting the Ninja Foodi Oven because it gets such great reviews. But it’s got such strange dimensions, being short and wide. The only thing it seems sized for is a pizza. But I’ve been eyeing this Ninja Grill as a complete replacement for the toaster oven because I like the dimensions better. And being able to completely remove the liner to wash in the sink is head and shoulders above any oven. It’s interesting to hear you say it does everything your oven could.

Lisa, I’ve been shouting from the mountain tops to anyone who might listen about the silicone pan liners. I only have a Ninja Foodi, but I ruined the finish on my first liner because stuff drips on it and hardens to the bottom. Of course I let it soak. But some things like BBQ sauce never soak off. So eventually I pull out a scrub pad, even scratch free nylon, and go to work. Finish destroyed. Take off that invisible clear coat and you don’t have a nonstick pan anymore. Put in that silicone liner, and nothing sticks. You are the only person on KZbin who I have actually seen have them. Please use them. Use them for anything. Don’t let nasty stuff harden on the bottom of any of your pans. Gunk just peels off the silicone. They are priceless.

Hi 7heRedBaron-finding this out the hard way only Grill roasting pan. Have to. scrub will have to order a new one soon. I was being lazy or I don't know what placing the silicone round in the bottom of roasting pan-made ribs. the other day in the grill and scrub, scrub, scrub. Like you said soaking does not remove the burnt on BBQ sauce. but I still love my Grill just have to be smarter or less lazy. Thanks 7heRedBaron!

I have to say although this video is for the NFG...I just bought a wonderful, wonderful item for my NFTCrisp. I got a stainless steel pot from Goldlion. . for I absolutely love it, wonderful quality, fits perfect. And will probably never use the 'thinly coated none stick' one again that came with it. I never did like the overall quality or the way it scratched so easy and I could not see or clean out the markings for measurements on the pot. Anyway, I feel like have hit Gold with this new stainless steel 'must have pot' for my NFTC.

Thank you for your video. I think Iv'e had mine for over 1 year now however I don't think I would buy it again. I didn't know you could get all these attachments for it, but use foil containers or tins i have in. I didn't know you could do eggs in them until I saw a video this morning so I did one. However It is easier in the fry pan & that's quicker to wash up. I am 85 years of age & my main problem with it is lifting things from the bottom when taking things out. It is heavy for me to do this & I am scared of getting burned. I air fry everything so I think I might buy just an air fryer as I think a drawer would be easier for me. However everything cooks so quickly but there is no conversion information so it is impossible to follow an ordinary recipe. Thank you .joanstorer

hi jona-agreew with the basket for you -I tried my father he will be 80 in a few weeks and I gave him a foodi but he kept burning his forearms then I gave him a grill he loves that but next I think I will be getting him a basket air fryer and also gift him my toaster oven -he has one but its on its last legs. he still cooks for himself -simple but good food. The grill plat e I never really used due to the cleaning I just used the air fry basket for everything. then when food would stick I would get another basket-they do seem to lose there nonstick pretty quick but probably depends on how much you use them. thanks For air fried burgers I usually do 350F, breaded chicken 390F, plain chicken breast 375F but depends on thickness, frozen fries 390F, meatloaf 350F hope this helps a little

Some items cab be purchased on Bed, Bath and Beyond website, Kohl's but maybe I can help with finding an item or at least steer you in the right direction. The infamous roasting rack-only place it can be purchased is Ninja Kitchen and currently it is sold out. I do want to see if I can cut a baking rack and try to get it to fit into the grill-if succeed at this I will let. you know. When I purchased my Pro version, it came with a longer list of free accessories from the direct Ninja site than purchasing the Pro elsewhere. I've constantly used the grill and griddle but intend to use the whole kit n caboodle (temperature probe, roasting rack, grilling tray, grilling bowl, kebobs). I did go get the cake pan as I didn't have anything that size. I love seeing what else you have so now I know where to go for more. I received this, opened the box, and made a complete meal in 15 minutes (which included the pre-heating) and have used it ever since. How many things do that today!

It's the heavy piece I"m thinking of...and I slide in the grill pan? Works nicely...yet love Lodge's 7inch cast iron round piece...

VitaZgal Hi. Yes I put asparagus in the veggie tray. I also got the 3 year warranty available for this option. I use the grill for filet mignon. I use the griddle to make grilled cheese sandwiches. I’ll have to look into the iron items. This appliance is truly versatile for me.

The silicone round is to protect the non stick. coming. And the roasting rack come sin handy. so there is air. circulation all. round the item-for example calzones-the bottoms will cook and brown nicely. When In used the AC basket for calzones the bottoms do not cook. fully. Thanks MLD561!

I haven't seen anything on Amazon-others have purchased wire racks and cut them down to fit. Maybe I should pick one up and try it. Maybe a bakers rack-cooling rack and cut it with snips or a hacksaw. Pencil an outline and then cut it. I don't know why Ninja Kitchen doesn't manufacture more roasting racks. Only thing I can come up with they weren't expecting to sell as many as they do. It was the same thing when the Ninja Foodi came out took forever to get accessories on their site. Think thats my only beef with Ninja so far. Thanks Louise!

I have silicon cake pans, square pans, you name it. I got mine at the 99 only in Vegas. What tips do you have for using them? Do I need to set the silicon pans on the rack? Or can I can I use the air fry basket in place of the rack? I'm a keto cook.
@pressurecrisp
@pressurecrisp 4 жыл бұрын
Oh I have a few more days left in Vegas-wondered what the 99 only stores sold. Field trip tomorrow! I usually don't use silicone to cook/bake in. but when I bake I usually use the roasting rack or a piece of the dehydrator rack or silicone trivet to raise up the baking pan. But I have been. able to. place baking pan-loaf pan on bottom of roasting. panned the time baked just fine. And you cause the air fry basket but you must watch the height of the baked item/pan as it will be much closer to the heating element. The top will brown too much and the item will not be cooked inside. When it comes to temperature Usually lower by 25. degrees but sometimes you have to lower it 50 degrees. Its all trial and error. I will be. having some baking videos coming out soon. hope this helps. thanks Judy!
