Hey that was a really good video but I got a question why are you using metal utensils in your crisper basket when you know it could scratch it up
@pressurecrisp5 жыл бұрын
To be honest I didn’t have a plastic one or silicone😞. Still purchasing items for condo in Florida and I forgot to pack some. Just like this trip I forgot the silicone whisk. Had to order one off of Amazon- I’m going to have doubles of everything! Thanks!

Thank You for another good video. I think you could spray the basket. drop in the first tortilla and build your quesadilla inside the pot.use your spatula or a potato masher to push down the top tortilla. really looks good.

Thanks! Next time I make them I will take heed of your advice and build them in the basket.

How did you cook the beef? It looked so good!

You can cook it on sauté right in the Ninja Foodi. When done just place beef in a bowl clean Ninja Foodi bowl and use to make quesadillas of Taco Bell crunch wrap supreme! Thanks for watching!

Looks good, but I prefer to use a comal or skillet. I probably won't be using the Foodi for quesadillas. I also love to use asadero or menonita cheese. : ) mmm
@pressurecrisp5 жыл бұрын
Thanks. Will pick up those cheeses. Where can I find those cheeses?
@TheDanielsrose5 жыл бұрын
@@pressurecrisp In Texas, you can go to the HEB deli. Elsewhere, I'm not sure, unless you know of a Mexican Supermarket. Asadero and Menonita are both common cheeses for Mexican cuisine because they are soft, melty cheeses good for quesadillas or chile rellenos. Happy hunting!

@@TheDanielsrose Thanks. We have some Mexican supermarkets here in Naples, FL. Will visit one this week. Appreciate it.

My brother lived outside of Albany for many years he was an executive chef at one of the best steakhouses ever to come out of Portland Maine it is now out of business. I would like to live near a Lake if I could I would like some place with a small town feeling like it is here in Maine even Portland the most people know most people. I would have to build or find a single story home and redo the kitchen and bathroom and have a ramp because I would like to use my electric wheelchair which would help me cook. And my manual wheelchair could just wheel me into the shower I can't get my legs up over a tub because I have no feeling from the hips down and very little in my hands just nerve damage pain is all I feel.
@pressurecrisp5 жыл бұрын
What was the name of the steakhouse? Sorry about the constant pain you are in. You should find that house and small town-stay positive!

try this method instead, should make it easier to put them in the cooker as well as flip...on one tortilla put your filling then flod it over, place in pot...repeat for 2nd tortilla....basically it will look like a flat flour tortilla taco ...these will be easier to flip but cook the exact same way...also I would cook a tad longer to get the cheese to be more sticky. The cheese should be super melted and act like spackle to hold the buggers together...I use this same method with my 8" skillet, and it is so much easier than tying to flip a single two tortilla stacked quesadilla...warm your tortillas first too, makes them easier to bend without breaking...that would help on the bigger one for sure.

Quesadilla equals Tex-Mex grilled cheese! I really like corn tortillas better and the yellow corn not the white. I know I'm a booger! Hahaha!

Tex-mex grilled cheese I like the sound of that! You know what you like-nothing wrong with that! Thanks for watching Elizabeth!

OK the Corn tortilla WAS 6 inches, but when you started out saying you were using a 6 inch Flour tortilla, that was a bigger tortilla. unless you have toddler sized hands. But since you had to cut an inch all the way around, I'm going to say it was 8 Inch Flour tortillas you used for your Quesadillas.

@@pressurecrisp You're welcome, and I'm sorry if that came off too bitchy. I just learned about this Ninja Foodi thing so these videos are popping up for me. That Crunch wrap looked like, yeah, 3 or 4 of the taco bell size. But looked yummy

@@pressurecrisp I always do that with the home made mexican foods. One burrito and I'm done. Need those jumbo tortillas. Sometimes I skip the tortilla if I'm watching calories and just put the guts I want on a bed of lettuce.
