Tried this recipe this evening for Christmas…this was THE best Prime Rib Roast I have ever made! I just purchased my Ninja and didn’t know there was a Whole Roast option! Your video has helped me a great deal! Thank you again!

OKG! I made this tonight for Christmas dinner and it was a hit. I fed 11 people, don't change a thing when you're following the instructions...this was dead on spot.

Looks wonderful, I was always skeptical of doing a prime rib in the Ninja oven, but will try now. Thank you Lisa

It came out great-I do wish I added mustard but I. did that with the leg O' lamb I made. I did the leg o lamb using the same technique and it was so good! Think. I enjoyed the lamb better lol. Just use a thermometer and it will be perfect! Thanks Kathy!

I was surprised to see how evenly browned the outside of that roast was. When you put it in and it was so close to the top of the oven, I thought the top would be darker than the rest of it, bit it wasn't. Looked gorgeous 👍 Super Rare = Blue. Thanks for making my mouth water once again.
@pressurecrisp4 жыл бұрын
True rare=blue. I was a little shocked too. it wasn't darker on top. It was very tasty! Thanks!

What do you you use to clean up your oven? I have trouble removing some grease
@pressurecrisp4 жыл бұрын
I have tried. a bunch. of. different cleaners but I find a Brillo pad. and a little. elbow grease works. Oh and I picked up a steamer-it works but. somewhat. time consuming. Hope this helps Michael!

Try Mr. Clean magic eraser or the New Dawn power shot, both work well. Rinse well. On another topic, windex is a surprisingly versatile cleaner.

How do you keep your oven so clean?!
@vanhoot22342 жыл бұрын
the thermometer should always be put through the thickest part I would suggest putting it horizontally to ensure even cooking throughout rather than vertically. also the new foodi xl version has temp included works great.

Suggestion for extra work space, get a rolling cart, mayby a microwave cart, but make sure it has locking wheels.

Lisa that really is a beautiful piece of meat. I was just thinking about doing that kind of beef in the near future. The store I loved and used to sell it has gone out of business. So I have to find it somewhere else. Thanks for sharing. I KNOW the roast is delicious 🤤

Great video Lisa! New to your channel and the Ninja Pro. I have cooked roasts using many different methods and appliances. Have you tried bone side up for part of the cook to min the rare meat near the bone? Thank you.

How is your oven so clean?
@pressurecrisp2 жыл бұрын
Dom -I use a Brillo pad-it works-I just can't get the heating elements super clean so afraid to break them.
@dom16642 жыл бұрын
@@pressurecrisp I just tried what you recommended. I used brillo pads and it scratched the silver paintwork right off. Thanks for ruining my oven 👎

Hay Lisa, I have another of my silly questions for you! If you could have put that in the Ninja Foodi do you think it would have cooked quicker or better or worse than the Ninja Foodi XL? You finally cooked it to what I would describe as mouth-wateringly good but it did seem a bit of a FAF what do you think? For a complete "Worzel Gummage" such as myself, I would like to just chuck it in an oven switch it on, and then Thunderbirds are go sort of thing!!
@pressurecrisp4 жыл бұрын
Hi David, Think. the almost 9. pounder may be too. large for the foodi but it depends on the size you have-6.5 or 8 Qt. But definitely a small rib roast could be done in the foodi. But the easiest would be to stick it with a thermometer and put it in the oven and take. it out at your desired temp. I had to look up Worzel Gummage-lol. To me these hunks of meat are. the easiest to make -make a rub, give it a rub down then roast in the oven. Thanks David!
@awendaawenda80113 жыл бұрын
I’m cooking mine in the Ninja Foodi tonight! Air crisp at 400 for about 25 minutes, then roast function for about 1 hour at 350, internal of 125. Time depends on weight.

Is it wrong that I wanted to lick my screen? That prime rib was gorgeous and I love the mashed potatoes. Have you ever done anything with the dehydrate function on your XL grill or the oven?
@pressurecrisp4 жыл бұрын
lol Georgia! Potatoes are. the best-lol. No I haven't dehydrated anything but think. my father mentioned he wanted jerky. for myself I may. do strawberries. I will brave the market tomorrow and pick some up and give it a try. Thanks!
