the key to beating the masked guy is to always be on the lookout for that grabbing attack.. it does a huge amount of damage on hard mode.. and speaking of hard mode this game is extremly difficult on hard mode and master ninja is a nightmare all those reviewers most likely played this game on hero mode or normal mode

Holy shit, I didn't know that it'd come as DLC, just beat the game on hard and sat with the impression that I loved the story, but the gameplay was a slightly easier than the previous game. Though, I'm glad enemies aren't fucking cheap like some of the enemies of NG2. Super excited now!!

Because the game came out for both 360 and PS3 at once. Sigma versions are basically upgraded ports to PS3 from 360, and since it came out for both systems at once, there's no point for there to be a Ninja Gaiden Sigma 3

I dont know why people are complaining about NG3, I think the story is far better than the previous games and deeper action than the previous games. People complain about the game being a bit easier, well be my guest and beat Master Ninja missions in the game. Only thing i missed with NG3 was the dismemberment of enemies. If you get stabbed in the stomach, and sliced from your waist to your head, you are going to be torn apart, not kept whole with blood stained clothes. NG2 was the best in the series with gameplay. Soundtrack belongs to NG3

What this guy said: Ninja Gaiden 3 was an overall letdown. What really blew it for me was that weapons were DLC, and the game was extremely short. Most of these other modern NG games were long, something I don't experience too much out of other hack and slashers, and then it's weapon variety was something a lot of people used to know it for.

This game wasn't too bad, it was alright, but it felt like it was lacking many things when comparing it to NG1/2. Although you can get the Scythe and Talons through DLC, that's just it,there's no new melee weapons, except Hayate's sword, which isn't really much. The projectile weapons are only the shuriken, and that special bow? The ninpo was also missing, there was only the fire dragon (story wise). The combos in the game pinned the player to doing more Izuna drops.Overall, it is a good game >>

But there are people who do enjoy NG3. I've played all 3 and while yes 3 isn't the best, I still enjoyed it. Admitidly change isn't good for everyone but if games never try to change they'd we be stuck with the same thing over and over which would get very boring pretty quick e.g. CoD (in my opinion).

It did more than just that. It improved the A.I, it added elements like dismemberment and the Flying Swallow of old back, the control is much more fluid, they brought back collectibles and more. Unfortunately, it isn't as satisfying or as fluid as the previous games and is still built on the engine that is Ninja Gaiden 3. No health items, no diaries, no more little fetch quests and lowered the activation frames for blocking and dodging. Razor's Edge is better, but not up to par with 1 and 2.

Arrogant douche..? Across the first two games he probably says less then ten words. He definitely isn't arrogant, he doesn't gloat, he just gets the job done. It's safe to say that he's confident, sure. He doesn't flinch often, even at the sight of demons as big as skyscrapers, he usually just stares them down and waits for them to attack. But he has killed things second in power only to gods, so it's not like he's being *over* confident. He just knows how much damage he can do.

Everyone likes to complain too much and are too entitled. The only way to satisfy some people would be if they were to make it from scratch personally. To some, different means scary and unwanted. To that, I think if they want more of the same, they should stick to replaying the older shit. Things change. They should be used to that from the transition from child to adulthood...but then again, I suppose some people never grow up >.>.

NG3 might be a little lackluster, but at least the story is fresh and new. No more battling waves of ugly fiends... instead you fight a cult of powerful alchemists. The Regent of the Mask is a great antagonist, and Ryu is less of an arrogant douche.

This guy really made an eight part segment on why this is a bad game & I look at collector's edition in the description like somebody snitched and just think, damn. The guy who narrated "why dmc is a bad game" hit the g-spot sux to say but true. I find it rather annoying that a legit online pass is 10bucks plus the fact you cannot use "this guy" {(Saa! Hajimetazœ)} and how there should be more unknown ninja components like skins & voices as well as a few more days tops in story with dlc content Rachael's new throwdown or some shit! Crap! My comment got posted before I could start writing...anyways, the only thing from NG3 I thought was really good was the Regent. Everything else, well, it's mediocre (though I love the Regent's theme music). NG2 was way better. The save points, boss battles, button techniques, just everything made me say "To hell with the harder levels!" Hard mode? More like worse mode. :P In the words of Christopher Titus, we're all brilliant, and we're all douchebags. NG2? BRILLIANT! NG3? Douchebag.
