You will love the silicone mat. I purchased two as I work primarily with larger canvasses. I don’t do ninja swipes (will leave those to the gutsy lady), but pour on larger substrate. Love this pour! Never disappointed.

Looking at it from the angle you showed it at the end; I saw an ocean creature.... an octopus. Beautiful. I work at a high end interior decorating store in Florida. We do a lot of the Oceanfront Condos on the beachside. It would sell easy here.

I use freezer papers to line my work surface. The skins store well, and the dry paint comes off the plastic surface well. Store the skins in a stack with parchment paper between the layers-(wax paper doesn’t work... the dry paint sticks to it) 😩

When I first started pours I couldn't get over how much garbage it produced. I didn't want to continue this art until I figured out how to reduce the waste. I then bought a large sheet of rigid plastic board from the hardware store to cover my paint table and some heavy drinking glasses (for mixing the paint) from the dollar store. With a bit of warm water, the dried paint easily lifts off the board and glasses. I still use the wooden stir sticks but re-use them over and over.

Basically you have trapped moisture in your Sealer & the only way that I know to release the trapped moisture is to mist it with the Solvent that the Sealer is made with. I looked up the Technical Data sheet on Rustoleum 2x clear Spray is Xylene based Solvent. You have trapped moisture in your clear coat. I am a House & Cabinet Painter, I also do Acid Stain Concrete. I can only tell you from my experience on Stained Concrete Jobs. I use a Xylene based Concrete sealer & I had an entire Living Room, Foyer, Kitchen & Dining in a Lake House cloud up on me. I had sealed the concrete early in the morning. The temperature & dew point have to be at least 5 points difference & no expected rain in the area. The answer to my cloudy concrete was I needed to load my acid sprayer up with straight Xylene Thinner & lightly mist the concrete & Like Magic the clouds disappeared!!! I'm not telling you that is the answer to your problem because I don't know what Xylene Thinner will do to your paint??? If it was me I would purposely try to spray a couple coats of the clear on a ugly canvas painting extremely early in the morning (5am) to duplicate the cloudy clear. Test the Xylene Thinner mist on it a few days later. Good Luck!!! Also I Love your Art!!! I am gonna try your Ninja Swipe SOON!!!

They are pretty much the same exact silicone baking mats you buy for rolling dough & patries and all that stuff . You can buy them in all different sizes and the really large sizes are 1/2 the price these ones are by Loli Vefe . The maker of them is sending them free to the KZbin artists to promote her. But you can find the same thing at some craft stores ,& definitely on Amazon . Definitely a great thing for paint pouring but I'd rather pay half the price on Amazon then i still have money left for more paint. !!! Hahaha. 😜😜😜😜

No cracking ever I use Floetrol only and I typically mix 2:1 (Floetrol to paint) no water typically
