After last episode where we explored Blitzo’s mindset during the acid trip of his past relationships and enemies like Verosika Mayday and Fizzarolli the clown, meeting them in this episode was definitely an emotional experience for him. You can tell that his personal relationships are a mess and while he does want to be close to people, his actions and behavior tends to drive them away. Also, the two girls in the last photo are his older sister and twin sister.

@@wingman4668 Stolas is a prince. Both Asmodeus and Stolas come from the same Goetia books, but Asmodeus represents a sin and is stronger than him. Stolas IS strong, but he is outranked by the royal family (Lucifer, Lilith, Charli (tho In Their case they might not throw their weight around so much) and the ones who lord over a specific sin and circle of hell Basically Stolas is on equal footing with the other princes in the ars goetia and are below 7 embodiment of sin demons, who are below 3 others of the original sin, pride (Lucifer wanted better treatment and Lilith wanted to be viewed equal to men)

@@NinjaKumaReacts the wiki is inaccurate. Tilla is his mom. Originally a sister, but as we all know, Pilots aren’t usually canon or are retconned in some way. The sister aspect was hinted in earlier episodes (Cherub and Spring Breakers)

Ending was definitely mommy and sister. This episode really threw it out there that Blitzo has had many failed relationships in the past, topped off with the implication that he likely ruined his relationship with his mother and probably sis too. Because of all these experiences, he doesnt believe Stolas loves him. He seeks love* and attention from his own employees and daughter to deal with it in a way, but he's scared to have love now because he thinks it'll just fail. Stolas cares for him alot now, he wants someone who genuinely makes him feel happy because his wife does not. And Blitzo, as you said, just thinks he wants sex. I really hope Blitzo comes to see that Stolas wants him genuinely and they can be happy ):

A lot of bonus info about the setting and characters are revealed in the creator's live streams and the official wiki. Stolas would not be able to do anything to Asmodeus as he outranks him as one of the Seven Princes of Hell and a member of the Ars Goetia like Stolas. The levels of this hierarchy are broken up from top-to-bottom as follows: Lucifer - The King of Hell Charlie Magne - The Princess of Hell The Seven Deadly Sins/The Seven Princes of Hell like Asmodeus The Ars Goetia like Stolas Overlords, who have considerable influence in the Pride Ring, like Alastor, the Radio Demon Sinners, humans who were sent to hell. Succubi, Incubi, and other unknown demon classes of Hell Imps and Hellhounds, the bottom of Hell's society

So I was under the impression that Blitz has what's called "Intimacy Anxiety". It's a real thing, look it up, and apparently it's very common. We learned from the last episode that he really does want a relationship with Stolas, but he's afraid that all Stolas wants is a booty call, and after what he's been through, Blitz doesn't want to be heartbroken again. Moxxie in episode 6: " I believe your subconscious is trying to tell you that you simply cannot fathom proper intimacy, but also crave it as well. It's rather unfortunate sir, considering it's often how you treat those who stand by you such as myself". Very common symptoms of Intimacy Anxiety/Intimacy Avoidance. We also see that he has pictures of his family, yet it wasn't until he pulls up his Mom and his sister, Barbie Wire, that he cracks down and cries. It's likely because that is the root of his fear of relationships. I have 2 theories on that. 1) Blitz did something to become the outcast of his family and doesn't want to screw up a future relationship, or 2) Perhaps his family was destroyed by his father because he was never in any of the pictures. Or perhaps his father dies, and his mom, Tilla (Confirmed by the picture, and the errata on the "Amazing Imp Twins" poster) may have been killed during the Extermination at one point, and fears becoming too attached to lose everything. It's really quite sad honestly. I feel like the next episode will likely delve a bit deeper into Blitz/Stolas's relationship. It was left on a cliffhanger after all. I guess we will find out sometime late December, if it follows the general trend of 1.5-2 months for an episode to come out.

I don't know if you noticed it Kuma.. But when Blitz is looking at the pictures, He is actually going back in time with them. Starting from an picture will Stolles which seem to be pretty far into their little ''relationship'' and then an picture of Moxxie, millie and himself. After that an picture of him shaking hands with Moxxie as they open up IMP, which is then followed up with an picture of Blitz adopting Loona, then goes to when he was together with Verosica which we know took place before he met Moxxie and the rest, Then it goes further back in time with two pictures of Blitz as an child with his friend Fizerolly, before ending on Back in time when he still was an innocent Imp Child with his Sister and Mother, in which he breaks down crying.

I think you hit the nail on the head with the summation that Blitz's fixation is on a desire for a real family again and the deep connection and lack of ever being entirely alone it provides. I noticed during the club scene that the real turning point for Blitz was when Ozzie accused Stolas of selling his life (his /family/ notably) for Blitz, and it really bothered Blitz and I'm not sure if he's even properly processed why. It could be anger at Stolas for risking something so precious for a garbage plaything like him (in his own view, given that he crossed his own face out of his pictures at home and accused Stolas of only wanting him for sex), but it could also be him realizing that he's costing Stolas the thing that he considers the most valuable thing in the world, and that he knows it's doomed (given how horrifyingly aware he is of his intimacy issues now) and that Stolas will end up just as hurt and alone as he is, so he grabbed Stolas and threw him as far away as himself as possible in some misguided attempt to stop things and possibly save him from that somehow. ...I've seen this episode like 30 times now and I have a lot of thoughts and feelings XD These two desperately need to communicate. Stolas needs to break through his habit of repressing the bad things and trying to act like everything is totally fine and he's perfectly happy when he's clearly not, tell Blitz what's happening to him, what's gone wrong with his own family, what he /really/ wants from Blitz, because the man is clearly starved for love and true connection, just like Blitz is, and they each think the other has it (Blitz with his daughter and coworkers, Stolas with his literal family). They both mask with false confidence, and sadly they both obviously believe it's genuine in the other. Blitz needs to break through his habit of hiding his vulnerability under belligerent, uncaring behavior and let Stolas love him, and be willing to believe it's real, that Stolas isn't out to get something out of him and toss him aside once he's gotten it. Trust is hard. Blitz needs to tell Stolas that he's hurting, that he's scared his connections aren't as solid as they need to be, hence why he's so possessive of Moxxie and Millie and Loona and won't let them go far from him. They've both made solid first steps this episode and I'm proud of them for that - Stolas is trying to be more respectful of Blitz, using his proper preferred name when in front of other people or during serious moments instead of just insisting on the cutesy nickname full-time, and completely respecting Blitz's 'no' without question & Blitz actually told Stolas what he felt and why he just wasn't in the mood to do anything at the moment, offered a sincere apology even if he followed it up with a very cold goodbye, and he finally made Stolas aware of how his overly flirty, demeaning and sexual behavior has come across to him Baby steps! Hopefully they both survive the next episode and manage to get a few more in. Sorry for the rambling! Hope you found at least some of this interesting!

Basically, in Demonology, there is the Seven Kings Of Hell. Those are Beelzebub, Lucifer, Mammon, Satan, Leviathan, Belphegor, and Asmodeus, each one representing one of the seven deadly sins. While Stolas is a Prince Of Hell, one the Ars Goetia, which are the 72 Pillars Of Hell. So one rank below the Seven Kings.

Some people here accuse Stolas of misbehaving. I really don't know what that's about. Stolas thought he had a nice date here, he offensively asked Blitz “are you asking me on a date” he later repeated that again “our first date” and Blitz confirmed it, although he didn't answer it or only half-truthfully. Some people say he didn't help when Verosika approached Blitz, but honestly? He got up and he looked worried, I bet if it had gotten more assaultive he would have reacted immediately, as he did in episode 6. It just came as a surprise to him. And him hiding behind the menu wouldn't have been cool either. But honestly, as an introvert, I would have done the same thing if I suddenly found myself in the spotlight of mockery, no matter how much I liked the other person. I don't think Stolas was referring to Blitz, he just wanted to hide. I know that Blitz probably saw it that way, but you really can't blame Stolas for that.

Close but not quite. There's only one king in this one, which is lucifer magne, but you're right in terms of power. asmodeus is ranked as one of the seven deadly sins' embodiments, thus the only two beings in hell that canonically are stronger or at least higher up would be charlie, lilith and lucifer himself.

While it may have been months ago for us, in previous episodes Blitzo has continually been lessened by other characters to a "plaything" for Stolas. I'm going to predict something. Season 2 goes by being funny in the start and serious in the end. Season 3, the same. In season 4, the grand finale, something will happen to Stolas. We will all think he died, Blitzo will be depressed and all, then the season passes. At the end, we find out Stolas lived. Blitzo decides to finally be honest and tell Stolas the truth of what he feels. Stolas's wife will have something happen that makes her stop trying to kill him and Octavia will spend more time with him. It all ends with his wife and him deciding to part. Blitzo will continue IMP and have a real relationship with Stolas. Or his wife could die as an alternative, darker end for her. This is all just me guessing, but we will see if I'm right. Also, I love your reactions

We, however, should be aware that Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel is not 100 % following The Lesser Key of Solomon but at least one other source: Binsfeld's Classification of Demons. You can see it in the concept of the 7 Rings of Hell and their 7 rulers/kings/archdemons/whatever (Asmodeus, Mammon, Lucifer, ...) in the series. Both sources are in conflict with one anonther in several details. In the end these both series do their own stuff with the sources and keep their artistic freedom if needed.
