Couldn’t agree more, nothing like trying to memorize catalase positive, urease positive, does not ferment mannitol, coagulase negative, and novobiocin sensitive without any knowledge of what the hell you’re talking about. Yep I forgot part of that as I wrote it even after this lecture, lol…

A lot of professors tell the lectures like bullet points and they never explain why, so we memorise some stuff without any logical explanation. It's not learning, it's memorising. But in your case, i actually understand stuff, even after 6 years of medschool, i feel like i'm enlightened about some topics bc you explain the logic perfectly

I know a lot of your videos are focused on physiology, however a complex video on the steps of photosynthesis, such as the one you did for cell respiration (glycolysis, krebs, ETC) would be really helpful because its a topic which a lot of undergraduate students need to know

Excellent lecture! One could hope that bacteriophages would always fight bacteria, but phages that infect Staphylococcus can carry virulence genes and worsen the staph.

i was diagnosed a skin infection caused by staphylococcus epidermidis, confirmed by antibiogram, executed directly on the lesion liquid. This skin infection has lasted for 7 years, i tried many sistemic and topics antibiotics but nothing it worked. What could be the problem related to this skin infection? What keeps causing it? Thanks

I’ve been prescribed levoflaxicin and Cipronol a lab found Staph Aureus in my urine. She did suggested going to a actual doctor to have me ohsycially assessed to make sure specific antibiotic but I’m leaving abroad in 3 days to return home
