ok but the monk glitching no spawns was awesome . imagine a slugcat playing and hibernating, only to find all other forms of life straight up gone. only little things like batflies and background bugs left, and not even the bug pupa that bluefruit are . somehow this rodent survives a silent mass extinction and they have to just wander the place . id love to be able to like fit the pearl duplication in there too that is genuinely so cool dude

The pearl was duplicated because the scugs world was split. They were in a in between an inverse reality where danger simply isn’t found the only life that follows them through are the ones small enough to fit through the seams.

For arti’s campaign I just rushed the king scav mask since there is no king scav, his mask just sits where he normally would be. Fun fact about his mask, it makes scavs *unable to kill you.* I then easily eradicated the 3 scav tolls right outside of the king scav arena in both daytime and nighttime spawns. It felt so damn good.

Getting the chieftain mask was plan B if I found the expedition too hard but I did better than expected so I decided against it, obliterating scavs with the mask on is so satisfying tho lmao

Monk was traveling the industrial complex in search of pearls so they could gift to their (to be) friends the scavengers! Upon their searching Monk stumbled upon a blue pearl that glittered a dark blue color, Monk thought this pretty of a pearl would surely make the scavengers trust them so Monk could befriend them easily.Monk hastily picked up the pearl as well as a (duller) grey pearl to gift to another tribe in the Farm Arrays, and so Monk scaled their way down the industrial complex into a shelter where promptly slept, though they started to have a horrific dream, they dreamt that they stuck in a black void, everything shaking around them, their head spun round and round and Monk hated it, they wanted to escape *something* but they were stuck, curled in a tight ball. The shaking got to an extent where they thought they might be ripped in half, until, they woke up in a cold sweat, shaking uncontrollably. After recovering from their state they noticed that there was an extra blue pearl in the shelter with them, this can’t be right there was only two , not , three? Whatever more gifts for the scavengers Monk reasoned as they grabbed all three pearls and headed to the outskirts without a hitch and up to the scavenger toll giddy, eager to put that nightmare behind them, so Monk payed the toll and rushed off to a shelter, they were ready to sleep until they realized they’d forgotten something on the side of the scavenger toll they’d left, however it was too late the shelter doors had already closed no going back now, Monk would just have to go back later. Monk woke up next cycle to see, two blue pearls? Hadn’t they’d already given one to the scavenger’s? Monk thought as they retraced their steps back to the toll feeling an eerie silence filling the area, like something was missing. As Monk neared the scavenger toll they found, it was *lifeless* not a soul lingered, not even a Batfly fluttered, this scared Monk, first the nightmare, then the duplicating pearls, now dead zones?! What was happening, the silence was deafening, Monk couldn’t take it, and they ran, and ran, and ran, but no matter how far they ran they’d always be followed by the silence of lifeless zones. Monk could feel their sanity slipping from them as the sound of silence filled their ears, they couldn’t take it they decided to go into the depths, hoping that *maybe* ascension could end this bleak, *silent* world. After many cycles of madness Monk reached the depths the guardians appeared to be gone, but nevertheless they pressed on, determined to end the silence that plagued their very being. Monk jumped into the void fluids without another thought, swimming down and down and down, until they reached, a bottom? They sat in the floor of the void, is this it? No *this can’t be it* something’s wrong, Monk felt there should be something, *anything* here to guide them but to Monks dismay that guide never came. They sat contemplating everything thing that led up to this, realizing that the dark blue pearl had to have done *something* it had to be! What else- Monks thoughts were rudely cut off by a violent shaking that shook every fiber of Monk to their core, they curled up scared now reliving their nightmares, as the shaking intensified Monk was pulled apart until the only thing that remained was a few yellow specs floating in the nowhere, forever *aware* , forever *scared* , but most definitely forever *silent*

It's from a mod on the steam workshop called Emerald's Tweaks and Features, one of the options includes shiny spawns, that causes some funky spawns including the albino batflies ^^

6:41 i've encountered this glitch a bunch of times in the past, even before Downpour released, and never found what caused it but i did notice that after every time it happened, the creatures from the region that the glitch happened in would be completely missing for every single cycle after the glitch until validating the files

Outer Expanse has 2 gates a one-way gate from Outer Expanse to the west intake system... or I think that's it's name anyway that area connects via karma gate to Outskirts... It is the same gate That you start Spearmaster's campaign in... the other gate being the classic sub gate.

6:40 this makes me think the game got high on shrooms and broke so hard it failed to save your game correctly and terminated all none batfly (idk how it works but batflys are special... I think it is because they are not saved to your save file) spawns and because you killed nothing it did not need to respawn anything as for why the pearl duped... I am not sure because it happened before the extinction of (almost) everything it is probably something else...

9:44 after watching a bit farther... I think this issue is do to it not having a fallback save on cycle 1 you know when you sleep in Rainworld the game saves well as the game puts it "You are starving your game has not been saved" So you your first save was on cycle 2...

16:55 I didn't have a singularity bomb as a part of my perks (kept killing myself) LOL Probably could've crafted one but I'd need at least 2 karma flowers. They weren't fond of appearing after deaths like they're supposed to and when I did find one I'd rather have the armour the dll in that room isn't supposed to move but it couldn't get me regardless so I was chill killing it with spears, no cycle timer in Five Pebbles and plenty of food to shelter after

Singularity bombs are easy to use. They have a few moments before they activate, so you just only use them right on a screen transition pipe, explode, leave, and wait for the Expedition tracker thingy to show up showing as killed - meaning that it's safe.

Don’t worry about not using passages. In expedition they are given for each challenge and you can only passage to a shelter you’ve visited on the expedition you’re on.
