😊Hi, I’m Brittney Lee Hill :D . I really enjoyed this upload! Did you know that the year 1939 was Hollywood's, GREATEST year? As far as film making goes? You should research how many great films came out that year, you would be surprised. Ninotchka, Gone with the Wind, The Wizard of Oz....etc. I only watch movies from the 1900's or earlier. I primarily, at the moment, watch them on the Turner Classic Movie channel (it's called, "TCM," on your cable box). You should join me in watching them :D . It's great fun :D ! This trailer ruins the whole film! The whole point is that you don’t think she is going to laugh - if we see that she laughs before we watch the film, the whole build up of the plot is lost! Booooooo thumbs down. Dumb trailer

agree on that it does take away the whole final feeling of the last scene when she does open up and laugh and enjoy life instead of being stiff and serious. but still a great movie and worth the trip getting to the final regardless.

I wish the male lead were Clark Gable or Cary Grant. Melvyn Douglas is OK, but not really in Garbo's league.

Very few were in Garbo's league. It must have been terrifying to play male lead with her. She could make very good actors look ordinary. I believe she was the greatest of them all.
