It's a shame wrestling games of today will never have the prestige and value that this legendary game has, especially since this is on my all time favorite console. Even though THQ developed this game, Nintendo is the future.

Man I miss when rock music was the ideal for action... it went from battle music to mumble trap beats... even for need for speed. I still laugh cause this was a time rock music sounded like Power rangers mighty morphin fighting evil. Miss those times though

Holy shit. The nostalgia is unreal. Played this every day after school in first grade either by myself or with my dad and (rarely) my stepmom. It was my childhood in 2015 while I lived in santa cruz, and one of my all time n64 games. I was so in love with the game that I would wrestle pillows on my bed to replicate it. Came back to check it out after all these years. Still the exact same as I remember it

Definitely my favorite wrestling game of all time. Played as Black Ninja against the toughest characters on the hardest level and had 60-minute matches. Absolutely amazing fun. Loved the Japanese characters that had the great leg lock submissions or high flying moves.

Played this and the Japanese version and the latter has a better roster, wish this had it. Who wouldn't want people like Terry Funk, Vader, Ken Shamrock, and the Road Warriors among others as well? Btw Dead or Alive wrestling was based on FMW (see Dark side of the Ring: Onita and FMW) which inspired ECW, and Independent Union is based on some independent promotion in North Japan.
