@@Ketchup1810 I never said it was annoying. It's a comparison. Think of it like this: Even if two things aren't annoying, one is bound to be less so than the other. And even if they used only MARIO's music, it'd still be wrong. The Super NES had absolutely amazing audio capabilities and some things you couldn't find elsewhere. The reploid war's most electric tune of the twenty-second century? Mega Man X's Spark Mandrill. The most powerful piece of classical music for the post-Apocalypse, nearly countering the Magic being flung during its scene? Final Fantasy VI's Dancing Mad. Some chill vibes to climb some still vines? Donkey Kong Country's Aquatic Ambience. This jank was rad and it was global. The N64 was slightly more capable, but it was its own thing. But just listen to those song and tell me you don't FEEL. Deep down, you know it can't be true.

+ImaFnT-Rex In that case she should have simply said that the N64 had improved audio quality, which in no way implies that the SNES had bad sound (which it didn't, by the way - you could easily play music from the SNES even to non-gamers and they would still find it pleasant a lot of the time - check out the track 'Outer Space' from the game "R-Type 3: The Third Lightning" for example, that track is legit heavy metal).

Based off of just five words, how can you possibly predict if I’m like one of those people? Second, I didn’t like my comment. i got n64 in 1997 when i was 7, it was easter and my birthday they fell on the same day that year. I didn't even know what it was, there was no internet yet. We had a super nintendo that's what I was used to. Bro, my dad came home from work with a copy of Super Mario 64, and it straight blew my brains out. That game still holds up today. Damn gaming from the 90s to the early 2000s was a treasure. In that respect I was lucky to have grown up when i did.

@mazrimalthor LMAO industry defining games happened before in the 3rd and 4th Gen and in this 5th Gen they were more defined on the PS1. Sorry if you're upset but the 64 is garbage in comparison to the NES, SNES & GameCube. The PS1 was what the 64 should've been. It was a disappointment. How old were you when the 64 came out if I may ask?
@brillopad6901
@brillopad6901 6 жыл бұрын
@mazrimalthor Goldeneye was great, Mario 64 and OOT are so over rated. The first 3 Zelda games are so much better than OOT & Majora's Mask. I have never been a big Mario fan, those were games I'd play when I had nothing else better or cooler to play. Fun games but not in my top 20 games for any Nintendo console except for SMB2. I had fun with the 64 just not as much fun as the PS1, NES, SNES or the GameCube. It is and was garbage to me when I compare them. I play Goldeneye still. But never go back to Mario or the Zelda games. That's what defines a system to me are the games that keep bringing me back. I go back to the NES, SNES, GameCube and PS1 all the time. I play a 64 game about 1/100th of the time. I have a list of only about 15 games I love and still play but have around 200 on the PS1 that I still play. I would've loved to have seen the 64 be discs and all the 3rd parties wouldn't have left for Sony. I got a 64 because I'm a Nintendo fan, still are. I had someone tell me how cool a PS1 was and I didn't believe them. Once I got one I knew right away how much better it was than the 64. If you loved it great, I consider it a major disappointment. The games that bring me back are: Star Wars Shadows of the empire Star Wars Rogue Squadron Star Wars Battle for Naboo Doom Wayne Gretsky's 3D Hockey The New Tetris Tetrisphere Wave Race Goldeneye Perfect Dark Mario Kart 64 Turok Killer Instinct Gold & Resident Evil 2. I was so excited for new Castlevania games and they both sucked. The Shadowgate game was so disappointing as well. And they didn't make a Metroid game which was a huge disappointment for me as well. They messed up with that console considering what it could've been.
