It’s only 16:9 because the PC monitor is set to stretch the 4:3 image. all N64 games are 4:3 and should be played in 4:3 IMO.

Careful that it's not made of cheaper materials that will become hotter than an actual quality everdrive and damage your N64! I've read reports about that

The materials used to make these flashcards are cheap even the ones made by Kriks and I don’t like that dude for the simple reason of him trying to monopolize the flash cart market to the point where he maliciously makes his updates for the flashcards brick clone ever drive 64 we live in a capitalist market, and no one person should ever be allowed to monopolize the market so believe what you want I have two clone flash carts that I’ve had for years now a clone SD 2SNES and a clone and N8 plus pro for my regular Nintendo and now that I know this one exists this will be the one I get for my N 64 good day sir stay scared if you want

I love 16:9 so much for retro games, that I switched my 16:9 SONY Trinitron for a 4:3 SONY Trinitron. Best choice ever. I'm also interested in that product because its equivalent to the Everdrive 64 X7, it saves the games without requiring a reboot. But I'll just buy it if it appears with a translucent red shell, because that's how I have all my original Everdrives, I just like how it makes these magical cartridges stand out.

The only game missing from the USA N64 game library collection from this cart that I picked up on was Mystical Ninja 2 Starring Goeman which sucks that’s a good game but this is still an amazing cart I have it

that depends on your definition of 'better'. If you're measuring ability to play N64 games on real hardware, there isn't much difference. Being open-source in and of itself doesn't make things better than closed-source alternatives either - there are plenty of poor-quality open-source projects around. Definitely way cheaper though, no getting around that fact.

I got the same one. works perfect. Im not sure if you noticed this but somewhere in that group of games there is a music player i found. Was interesting to find this to say the least. This is not the built in music player for sc64 which is something else. Its in the "us" section.

I liked the intro and the theme music to WCW Mayhem. Those parts written in stone in my brain but the gameplay was nasty nasty work. THQ left WCW for dead lol

I'm going to backup the SD Card when it arrives, can the SD Card be plugged directly into the laptop and I do a simple copy and paste? I'm thinking of copying the files onto my 32GB Sandisk that I already have spare. I can format the sandisk to exfat or fat32 if needed. My concern is how to backup the original SD Card that the summercart comes with.

So its basically a 500-1000 games in one cartridge like the ones we bought for the nes back on the 80s/90s but for famicom and had to use a adapter to play on the n.american NES system.

no issue there- as long as you have the expansion pack but I haven't been able to save mem pack save style games to the summer cart like you can on a everdrive- I need to have the mempack in the controller or wireless dongle.

Take the as card out and just pull a good rom from online then you can play it on the cart you already bought no need to grab another 1 for one game or if you don’t mind paying for one game just but the stand alone no mercy plus with the upgrades

I think with the everdrive you can save directly to the everdrive even games that require the mem pack - I have gotten gamesaves to work on the Summer Cart but not mem pack saves- Do you have any insight on this?

This is so cool and even in the Mario kart 64 ROM the video on the first track above the tunnel works whereas playing on the computer it's not displayed

Wrong, this is the first cart that allows the 64dd Roms to be played on official hardware. First of its kind.

On the Internet -- one website says that there were 296 Nintendo 64 games released in North America !!! On another website -- says 388 games were released in North America. !! In there is 1000 Nintendo 64 games, this means that it includes releases in Europe and Japan as well as other regions !!! But -- the Summer Flash Cart only has a 8 GB card containing 350 Nintendo 64 games. Not all roms on that cart is for the USA !!! Buyer Beware !!! 3:18

Has anyone made a USB N64 controller WITH RUMBLE had StarFox 64, Killer Instinct, Goldeneye, and Super Mario 64 backed up had 1 that I got from the 'Center' but for $15 about 10+ years back you get the movement but some games had hints by rumble as well as the feel in some games was preferred for a better experience. AND OF ALL THINGS IT KEPT THE CLASSIC SHAPE 'WITH MEM CARD SLOT WAS THERE'! wonder if I still got it using 360 controller works but buttons mapped sucks feels WRONG! I just watched your WWE WMX and WCW 2024 N64 is next in list I'm gonna stalk the channel after that if another interest don't pop up!

This is a clone of the ed64. The clone of the everdrive 64 which comes in a Red cartridge. They sold it in Amazon for like $50 So this is a clone of a clone. Hey as long as it serves it purpose. Mine still running good.
