As a PlayStation fan they will destroy their competitors once again because MS and Sony blew it. Sony's press conference was horrendously bad. It was a disgrace for PlayStation fans from the PS1/PS2 era. Nintendo's Direct will have lot's of stuff in store for everyone. Wii U is catching up PS4 and Nintendo will turn things around with Wii U just like they did with 3DS. Japan has chosen Nintendo this generation as well and mobile gaming. They don't care for electronic products from Sony and they don't even care about their american games. Many people I know have already changing their minds which system they want to get in the near future and that will be Wii U. A new Fatal Frame is coming for Wii U.

"There will be an addon to..." SNES CD, N64 DD, GameCube Broadband adapter, etc. Just standard Nintendo politics to trick developers into staying a teensy bit longer. Every Nintendo console except for the Wii had an expansion port. The NES had one (maybe the FDS was a pipe dream), SNES was to use the Sony CD addon, N64 did finally use the N64DD, GameCube eventually used the GameBoy Player and also had a second bay for the broadband adapter. Even the Wii U Gamepad has an addon port. lol

RIP Satoru Iwata, what a great man, he was Mr Nintendo - through & through. Even though the Gamecube (GCN) wasn't well received back then, it is a revered console today, we ALL know how AWESOME the GCN really is, if the NX is like the Gamecube then I think Nintendo would do very well this time round. I still have a Wii - & on it I still play Gamecube games, on a daily basis to be honest, that is how highly I rate the Cube, the GCN's games really were awesome.

yes you are right it's not only about the games, and now rethinking of it allows me to see the reason for sale charts, they are for other companies. That being said, the other companies should do their research,(which they do) they do not rely on a press conference to inform them of the company's sales.
