It could be "CONNECT", following the idea of wirelessly hooking the console to the TV, or even to another Switch (imagine being able stream a second screen to another player and play multiplayer, Stream Play if you will) Doing something like this without a dedicated button would mean toggling a lot of settings, which would be counterproductive to a regular user.

seeing the full console albeit 3D printed made me incredibly worried, it literally looks just like the switch. Thinking back to WiiU where people didnt get it because it was an expensive attachment to the wii they believed or they already had a Wii and didnt need the upgrade might just happen again, because to a consumer that isnt as in the loop with whats going on this system is so nearly identical its concerning. Fingeres crossed marketing team clutches up and can better destinguish more than a sloppy camera button does

I was really hoping the new "C" button stood for cast. Wireless screen casting so you could use it like a Wii U gamepad. Get some of those Wii U and DS games ported over. As many people said, connect but "connect" could mean 3 things. Connect with friends (better friend system, chat and parties) Connect peripherals (like camera or second screen like DS/ 3DS) And connect to TV (like an airdock, allowing a second screen like the wii U)

This time make the gimmick optional so they can focus on power for console sales and mainline games like 3d Mario/3d Zelda and then capitalize on a vast quantity of nso ports they’ve not been able to tap into yet with accessories, which can also allow for more optional creativity from game to game while also removing some of the long term difficulty of porting games in the future from mandating accessory use like they did with the Wii u. If thats the case then the price should be somewhere around $350-400 since that tech is about 5 years old. Hard to compare the raw numbers of a low-power consumption RISC processor on the Switch to the Intel-based high(er)-power consumption CISC processors on PS4/5 and Xbox One/Series. Especially when you factor in what mobile ARM-based RISC architecture on Apple's pro-computer and tablet lines can meet and possibly exceed performance of most desktop and laptop processors. I mean, back when the GameCube, Xbox and PS2 were sold, the GameCube with its RISC-based CPU had nicer looking graphics than the PS2 with its later-gen N64-like MIPS processor and came pretty close to if not the same graphically to the Intel-based Xbox while sipping less power to boot.

The camera attachment would be right on top of the cooling vents. That's bad design especially if other accessories are to be used. The USB c port is literally right beside them. It would have to be offset heavily. A more powerful processor and such would need those vents. While I would bet they will make some attachments, if it was meant for different attachments they all better start with the letter C. I'm not a Nintendo fan, never owned a switch this is just my thoughts as an IT tech.

I think one gimmick I saw on the documentation page that was being circulating alongside the internal images that I hadn't seen brought up was them keeping NFC functionality, and I think with the spacing, I think we may be seeing under-the-screen NFC functionality returning for the Switch 2 (previously found on the N3DS line of systems) Would love to see unique mounting mechanics being shown off for the system if that's what's being proposed for the Switch 2; saw one commentor really wanting the system to have dual-screen functionality return, so having that connect off the top, while using the magnetic railing to attach from could work, in the same way the Gamecube screen attachment worked

I find it weird that the original leaks were saying that it would be smaller than the steam deck, but the 3d print shows it being bigger than it. Mabye thats for the XL version and the base version is smaller

Man, the Switch 2 makes the Switch OLED, look like a Switch Lite! Kinda cool, but good bye poclatablity. Really hope we get a Switch Mini with hdmi out, longer battery life and maybe ability to stream from out Switch 2 library.

I believe for the mockup she only had a smaller screen on hand so it had bigger bezels than the actual model will have
