With it you can play game files from it, but, if you do it in a normal switch, you can get banned if the copy is not yours (You dumping your physical game into the mig switch). I rarely see a grown man/women playing on switch but kids everywhere wether on a flight, airport, mall, even family function and parties are having kids busy with console and their parents making sure that each kids gets their fair share of time playing console if there is only one or two available. I guess its an easy way to avoid parenting.

MSRP wise Nintendo typically aims to be cheaper than the competition, and since the switch 2 is a direct upgrade, most people will trade in their old switchs for a potential discount. Either way the switch 2 is definitely the upgrade I wanted ps4 pro level of power plus dlss will really help 3rd party ports reach 60fps that's all I wanted. Yeah I have a steam deck, but im also a power user for the most part, but having a hybrid console that just works out of the box no tinkering required and runs all 3rd party games 60fps decent graphics would make the switch 2 worth it imo.

I do feel like this does set a bad trend for the future. People complain all of the time about hardware or software released before it was ready. So if Nintendo isn't ready to reveal it, they are still working to make sure things are ready for a full launch. But they get punished by these leaks because of them taking their time. Based on some of the leaks, it's clear that in the future a ton of places won't be able to work with the company anymore. Also given the publicity, they will likely lose any partnership deals they have with other companies as well. Side note: Wouldn't it be funny if Nintendo released fake mock ups and hardware just to troll people looking for leaks. Mainly to hide what their full release would be?

It's honestly a beast, considering it has the relative power of a Series S in a tablet format with physical media reader included and it would cost less than 400$ Like, the Switch 2 is very thin for what it packs in. Unlike those 1kg RGB "gamer" handheld PCs.

As much as I love the mobility of the Nintendo switch 2 and it's power, I'm way more interested in seeing how they'll upgrade the dock. If they can upgrade it to where if the switch is docked, it'll run at double if not triple the power and optimization of a switch 2: that would be the best for all the current and soon to be out big switch games!

Thing is about the leaks, EVERYTHING about the hardware and design has been leaked, from the logo all the way to the motherboard This includes the dock and logo which is the normal switch logo but with a 2 next to the controllers TLDR: the names been leaked since before Christmas and its switch 2

Yeah 2 or 3 thing I’m kinda excited for is switch 2 and the official steam os for desktop PCs (hopefully with both GTX/RTX support)/ and a steam console in the future. Would love zen 4 /RDNA3+ (GDDR6/GDDR7 256bit bus or more) set top box under my tv running steam os. I’d also take a ZEN4 with RTX3xxx + setup box running steam os. But I doubt Nvidia would ever make deal with steam to make steam console. But never know. Steam is big enough they could make deal with Nvidia. They could in future launch steam consoles with RDNA3 Gpu or with RTX 3xxx or newer GPUs steam box’s.
