Oh yeah for sure, I hear what the behavior is and I usually have it diagnosed before I test it if it's a common fault.

What do you use to test for RCM mode?

You don't actually need anything. If the computer picks it up and it's black screen 99.99% it's in RCM. I confirm with TegraRCM Gui.

Can you tell, why the docking test sometimes work on side and not on the other? Isn’t it suppose to work on both sides?

I'm uncertain. I just got an extension for the OEM dock and it seemed to do the same thing. Wasn't expecting that.

I’m asking because I fixed one of my Switches today (pi13usb change) before it wasn’t docking now it does, but only on one side. My college said he’s pretty certain, that his switch at home is docking when plugged to a 3. Party docking station. I’m not so sure about that

@@Samsemillya it seems to be normal for one side to not dock when you try it at least. I don't know that that isn't just random Switch nonsense. I'd have to test that specifically to say definitively. I'm usually just looking for it to dock one way or another, if it docks on a side then it's good. I've never heard of half docking as an issue it either does or doesn't.

@@Samsemillya I have recently had two cases where a Switch would dock on my 3rd party dongle and not on the OEM dock. That's the reason I got an extension actually. Both were PI3USB issues. I have no clue how or why that particular "kind of" failure happens.
