What temperature did you use for the heatgun and the desoldering? I'm just struggling to get rid of the last solder in the legholes. The same as you were struggling.

You need more flux and a bigger tip mate and you definitely need to increase the temperature of the heat gun

Nice video! Very good resolution and light, u should improve some more on ur cleaning technique and avoid the unnecessary heat on the area of interest, u could cut or buy different size of solder wick, use some more flux too, it never hurts, and u can always clean it after all 😉👍

Thanks. If you look at the presentation video you will see in the description links for for the stuff I used. Expensive enough but not that expensive compared to other setups. Most people go for big brand names only to regret it later.

i held my hot air over it 500 degrees , port wouldnt budge after 5 minutes solid of hot air, black shit melted all over it, i guess its trashed
