Nintendo Switch review and random thoughts after having played and used the console for a week. Overall I think the new Nintendo Switch is a great device, but it has some flaws which I highlight in the video.

I like the Switch Global. It does have its little quirks to it and really like playing Neo-Geo titles on the unit. I want to purchase one soon after all the hype and waiting for Nintendo to fix all the bugs in its 1st production run on the unit. But overall, its worth the price to invest in one for enjoyment! Awesome one man.Ben Heck discovered the NAND storage is actually removable.It has a separate board and a socket.Also why were the thumbsticks not like the wii u gamepad It could have been done.

Yep Ben Heck did such a good job of the teardown! Interesting hardware that's for sure. I think it's already been hacked from what I've read.

Yep I heard that as well. I'm going to follow that topic closely. Hidden browser confirmed. I think the OS will be patched this week TBH. They would be stupid not to.

Interesting review, The consensus seems to be the Switch is a fantastic portable console but a mediocre home console. I thing i'll wait till the game library grows and improves before buying one.

Thanks. It's actually a good home console as well as it works fine in the dock. The pro controller is a MUST though as the joycons are a flawed ergonomic design IMO as they have the buttons and sticks in a vertical plane. That's just not how our hands move, so it's cramped and unnatural to play. I don't think Nintendo really intended anyone to use the joycons seriously, as they released the pro controller day one, as a not so subtle hint that you need one. Games wise... yeah just wait until Mario and Mario Kart come out but Zelda is spectacular. You may even find Nintendo release an updated console version for Christmas with a bundled game, more NAND storage and a revised dock.

It's got way too much going on and the Takara Transformer thing is lame. I'm passing on this hot mess. How about a new Turbo Grafx console for 2017 instead?
