A very interesting coincidence. I was having a tough weekend also filing a consumer complaint to boot and going to check on World of NIntendo several days after Friday to see what I had missed. And so on The dust hasn't settled for me still, but today I am relatively in time. Thanks for finding time to do that new Nintendo Unboxed playlist At first I was a bit worried, though I do have a couple of game and watch'es, none of them are Nintendo's. But after I saw the titles on the screen it got me momentarily. By the way, It may boast an alarm clock but I wouldn't bet my wedding day on them :^)

I’ve got a few game and watch and some early ones but I have no nostalgia with them. The ones you showcased are the ones I remember as a kid and are definitely the best ones to play. Lovely video as always Bob

The story I'd always heard was that Yokoi observed a man mindlessly pressing buttons on a calculator just to pass the time, and that inspired him to create something pocket-sized and actually entertaining. I've been there! The Super Mario Bros. Game & Watch was the only original G&W I owned, and was a frequent travel companion in the years before I had a Game Boy; honestly, the gameplay holds up for what it is! I was pretty disappointed to find this game wasn't included in the 35th Anniversary Game & Watch; it would have been more fitting than Ball. I always found the dragon-like depiction of Bowser to be interesting (and the accompanying alarm a little spooky!), and really enjoyed the original artwork of Mario found in the game itself and the manual. This is actually an "enhanced remake" of the original Crystal Screen version, where the Mario characters looked more like "Mr. Game & Watch!" My original was accidentally broken by another kid; when eBay came into being around ten years later, my very first purchase was a replacement. I'm glad I got in early on that one...

Does the numbers in the inside flap of the DK box match or mean anything? Nintendo likes to match things like serial numbers, curious if it goes back that far

I survived Grade 12 Pre-Calc by playing Bust-a-Move and FastTunnel on my TI-83. Who needs trig identities when you are so so close to beating your high score?

I find funny that this punch-out is for 2 players. I always find disappointing the lack of a Vs mode in the nes version.
