This is gonna end with the snow turning red and we find out the wolf’s parents killed the deers parents, isn’t it… the logo even looks like it could be a wolf biting a deer as well as a deer comforting a wolf (perhaps their parents are opposite colors too, but black deer and white wolf). Cute looking game, will definitely give it a try.

It probably wont be! It depends on if your son is very very young or atleast 11 or older. Dont take my word for law but most of the time these games have a very hard to take emotional twist. I suggest watching a KZbinr play it by yourself before you introduce it to your kid

Man what an experience. While it was a bit of a chore controlling both characters, I understand it IS ment to be played with two people, so i didn't even get the full experience. I wouldn't go into it expecting a big game, it's more like a movie you control, but that doesn’t mean it's bad, it's a great journey where you grow WITH the characters, growing a bond with both the cub and the fawn and seeing their bond with each other. And along the way you meet others, helping them out on their own adventures. It was only at the end of the game that I realized that not only did the characters in the game grow, but I did with them, and in the end, I left feeling like a changed man. The people who made this did an incredible job.

The 2D hand drawn animation art style looks very similar to the very first Mickey Mouse cartoon "Steamboat Willie" back in 1928. I have to admit I got really teary-eyed when I saw the logo of the animals snuggling together to keep each other warm and the sounds the fawn makes sound exactly like an actual fawn and the whimpering barks and hesitant sounds of the wolf cub add to the authenticity. Unlikely animal friendship similar to "The Fox and the Hound." Hopefully it's a one player game for those who don't have anyone to play with. I think I'll buy it.

Looks great but you've lost me if I can't play solo. Co-op is great as an OPTION, but forced co-op games? Sad, I don't like them even if I'd like the gameplay. It just seems weird to have an entire game completely rely on having two people. I DO like games that have two or more characters that one person playing can SWITCH between. Like that one Shrek game on the Gameboy, I really liked being able to switch between like literally FOUR characters. They should put the co-op only thing first, because I was really getting excited and wanting to play, but my disappointment is very very high.
