YES! Those 2 tracks NEED a console remake! Waluigi Pinball's bumpers could work very well as anti-gravity spin boost bumpers! Imagine the whole track with anti-gravity that would be insane. Airship Fortress's spiral tower at the end could be a good anti grav section too!

Gabriel DÍaz Oh yeah! GCN's Rainbow Road was my all time favorite racetrack. So beautiful, so challenging, it would make a great addition! I also feel like DS's Rainbow Road may be it though, since it has a loop de loop and a swirl that would really work with the anti gravity set up they have. Both were really fun Rainbow Roads.

Folks over at Nintendo, I played this earlier today, and even before the race started, I was just amazed with how beautiful this looks. I've played the original one on Super Mario Kart for the SNES, the revision on Mario Kart: Super Circuit for the GBA, and the Mario Kart 7 remake for the 3DS. The remake for the Wii U is just breathtaking. I'm a little sad that this wasn't the last track in the cup (a first for any Rainbow Road) because that's just how beautiful this is. Even so, the Hyrule course is interesting with the fact that instead of coins you have rupees. To have the Zelda theme not be the BGM for that course would've been a huge mistake. Still, I just wanted to let you folks know that this is now my favorite remake of the original SNES Rainbow Road. Mr. Yamauchi would've been proud of you all.

If he's announced as an Amiibo figure for SSB, why can't he be a character in MK8, apart from the fact that he'd driving rather than running? Sega was starting to bring back some credibility to his name, but now he's right back in the trash after (IMO) the worst game in the entire franchise.

That would cause problems especially with online. With races usually around 2 minutes having a race over double would cause huge boredom towards some players and if the track got picked over and over it would really annoy some people. Personally I prefer it to be 1 lap as the exciting music, feel and visuals will get weary as you go on it longer and longer. The length was one of the main reasons why I hated the MK64s RR. I feel 2 Laps would do the same. The tracks feels like it needs to be a one-lap experience IMO.

BlackKyurem5 With now 40 courses the chances of it getting picked over and over again as one of the three options and then having the majority of people, who are supposedly sick of it, picking it are rather remote. Secondly the course is too damn short. Three laps might've been too much of an endurance test for some (softer :P) players. But now you blink and it's done. They didn't lengthen it appropriately to be broken up into sections. It's rather pathetic and underwhelming really, and dose not live up to the promise made by it's fancy face lift.

Yeah, same. So far I’ve found every single booster course pretty disappointing. The Wii ones especially just feel like they lost everything that made them fun originally, and I don’t understand why they included the tour tracks at all. It’s pretty clear Nintendo just wanted to keep 8 deluxe alive since it was selling so well, but I think everyone would’ve been happier with a new game. As for why the Wii U’S DLC was better, the price tag says it all.

I am in love with my Wii U. This DLC, Smash, and Bayonetta 2 have all been outstanding. Can't wait for Captain Toad in a week too. I know that may not be everyone's most anticipated game, but I think it looks fantastic.

SNES Rainbow Road is by far my favorite Rainbow road track in this whole game!!! Even though we got the original retro track of SNES Rainbow road back on the 3DS in it's original state/theme i still love that it's back on MK8 remade and frankly i think for the 3rd time around coming back to a MK game (for any track that is) they could've added more to it like anti-gravity or more obstacles or something throughout the track since this version was meant to be a remade anyway! But i have no regrets with how they decided to remake this track sticking a little close to it's SMK roots, so excellent job bringing back SNES Rainbow road again!!! In 1st 2nd and 3rd (in my opinion) for MK8's RR's is 1) SNES Rainbow Road, 2) Nitro Rainbow road and 3) N64 Rainbow road.

Actually, it has four versions, because there are Extra Retro Cups in Mario Kart: Super Circuit (GBA, 2001) and they rereleased all the Super Mario Kart stages for the GBA. And there is six if you count the two Mario Kart Wii Custom Track Grand Prix Revolution stages SNES Rainbow Road and SNES Rainbow Road (remake for 3DS), but that wasn't made by Nintendo.

Nintendo is destroying their past games.Skyward Sword was my favorite Zelda game other than Link's Awakening,The Other M was my favorite Metroid game other than Zero Mission.the new Smash Bros. is amazing,and this Mario Kart destroys all past Mario Kart games.Nintendo is killing it with their line up.i wanted a ps4 but now i'm getting a Wii U.and if i get both i'll probably would touch the ps4.Nintendo games are fun to play.its great to see Nintendo kept their heart over the years.

I liked skyward sword because it had the choice to explore, other then wind waker, and twilight princess.the world in skyward sword was vast.and the other M was the best metroid in my opinion because it had a verbal story and samus narrated it.first time ever Nintendo gave a character full voiced line and not sounds,screams and catchphrases.and I think link might get some vocal lines in this upcoming zelda game Nintendo keep showing.this open world zelda.
