He got ungodly nerfed after the Shrine of Resurrection. I mean healing a basically dead body back to life must takes it's toll on the person and wouldn't be as strong. That's my personal head cannon why link can fight 20 black bokoblins here and defeats them in seconds while in BOTW he can barely fight 5 at once and takes around 4-9 minutes to kill them all.

I don’t care what anyone says, this was a great game and story line for a “short” prequel/ “filler game”. I’m actually restarting it right now. I’m into action slash games, and this was perfect. My biggest concern is BOTW2, so many of us have extremely high expectations for the sequel, because of how intense and beautiful/immaculate BOTW was. I can only hope that Nintendo doesn’t let us down. Especially finding out they’re using the same map. Leading me to think it will be a much darker, perhaps “underground” game play.

well thank god we have this. One of my main yet few disappointments with BoTW was how they made the flashbacks just cutscenes instead of great unique sequences. It felt like such a wasted opportunity. Still is. The events of Age of Calamity occur the _exact_ way they do in Breath of the Wild up until Terraco goes back in time in the opening cinematic. It's still canon because AoC *_always_* happens because Terraco *_always_* goes back in time once Zelda awakens her power to save Link at Fort Hateno against the Guardians, Terraco is activated and then notices the destruction caused by the Calamity

They lied about this game enabling the player to experience the events of the Great Calamity as it happened in the backstory of BOTW (this statement was made in both the announcement video and on the website multiple times). We got an alternate-timeline variation of the calamity that is stopped before a number of its events could truly begin, so this statement is a lie. Oh, and the definition of a prequel is a story that precedes the events of a previous work, and in many cases is a story that shows events that were part of the backstory of said previous work. Nintendo claimed that Age of Calamity precedes BOTW and that it would show the events that were part of the backstory of BOTW, both of which turned out to be untrue. That would mean, by definition, that they lied about the game being a prequel to BOTW.

I think of this with an entirely different mindset that makes more sense than most the comments in here. I like Hyrule Warriors alot more than Breath of the Wild imo for a solid reason. I can play it forever and it will always be addicting to unlock sooooo many things constantly. Breath of the Wild was a beautiful 720p cell shaded painting but it its not something i will ever put on repeat. Breath of the Wild will always be outshined by whatever the latest main Zelda game is (like BotW2 or beyond) but Hyrule Warriors will always be replayable cuz it has everyone in it. Dont misunderstand me tho, i hate Hyrule Warriors with Breath of the Wild combined together (aka the game in the video) ugh. I wont buy this at all cuz im burnt out on BotW theme stuff after 100% everything in the game. Hyrule Warriors should have remained a celebration of the entire Zelda franchise instead of being full-on 100% BotW now. No thanks Nintendo Il keep playing HW: definitive Edition for Switch in HD

Abraham Ponce can’t be, it’s gotta be before that ever happened. This is likely their first meeting, as neither of them are wearing the royal blue champion clothes (scarf and tunic) that they had during that cutscene, Link doesn’t have the master sword, and Revali’s diary in BotW stated Link never took him up on the challenge and he wanted to go 1v1 against him. Revali probably heard about Link and got the jump on him to test him out once he discovered he was near Rito Village. Hence the cloud of snow and Revali shooting out of it

@@ssssssstssssssss ehh XIII wasn't my cup of tea. It was a good game though for me not as amazing as other people thought. I di like XIII-2 though. I have my reasons for not really enjoying the three. Idk man the first 3 metroid primes are amazing. Gears 1 through 3 we're one of the best as well

@@colmryan9289 Was... Was that a Trilogy? The third game doesn't have the same characters. In that vein you could say OOT, MM, and TP were a Trilogy because it takes place in the same time line, sequentially, and the ancient hero is actually OOT Link. But I'd say it isn't. In this case though, Hyrule Warriors, BOTW, and BOTW2 will follow the same Link and Zelda in all three games.

NostalgiaFactor Niko was in Wind Waker, Phantom Hourglass, and Sporit Tracks. I believe he even comments on how much you look like Link from when he was younger. You also meet Linebeck’s grandson. I would consider it a trilogy since there are some characters brought over, like Niko, and it takes place not too long after the events of Phantom Hourglass, confirmed to be 100 years

WW/PH/ST and OoT/MM/TP both have a base game, a direct sequel, and then one game kinda completing the story centuries later. ALttP, LA, and the Oracle games are more disconnected but all feature the same incarnation of Link. I don’t think there’s ever been as direct of a trilogy as this new BOTW trilogy, even if Hyrule Warriors is technically a spin-off.
