I went back there at level 30 or 31 and the fight too much longer than I epxected and his charge was still dealing close to half of my character's HP. Because, what if there won't be a follow up sequel? You have to make each game and it's accompanied soundtrack as if it is the last one you'll make. The implications of the title "You Will Know Our Names - Finale" means it's the end of the Conduit Saga, relating to the Monado and everything. But that doesn't mean the Xenoblade series is finished. We will most likely get a Xenoblade Chronicles 4, and a new story series that doesn't focus on the Monado, the Aegis, Noah's sword, and the Conduit.

This theme has really grown on me. I think in general xc2 ost is the best one, but xc3 has this entire melancholy *vibe* to it. In xc1 it feels like you've wandered into danger (yes), in xc2 it feels like you have a big epic battle ahead (yes), But this one... When the music drops on this track it really feels like youre fighting the final boss. The battle to define your lifetime!!!!!!!!

One thing Xenoblade music does extremely well, better than almost every other video game music I've heard, is understanding the emotions and feelings of the player. Example: in many other games whenever you would fight something like a unique enemy from xenoblade (basically a boss), the music would usually be grand, imposing, epic feeling. They try to create the atmosphere and make you feel things. But that can sometimes put you at odds with what you're actually feeling. However, in Xenoblade? We get an upbeat, energetic track that hypes you up and makes you jam to it while you fight. Why? Because that's exactly what a player feels when they fight a boss like this: they are pumped up, they are having a great time and they want to feel like a badass, and that is exactly what this track sounds like! The soundtrack isn't trying to give you a false sense of the fight being some epic struggle for survival, it shows the fight exactly for what it is: a fun challenge that you're doing because you want to have a great time. Nails it! Another easy example: the keves battle theme. It's just a fun track again, because that's what player is doing when they fight: have fun! On the other end of the spectrum: mobeus theme is also fantastic. The first time I heard it, it sounded exactly like what I was feeling at the time when fighting it. Of course, in my opinion not all of the tracks hit that well, but the amount of them that do is exceptionally high compared to other game soundtracks.

Xenoblade is one of the few series to place pseudo-superbosses along the entire game instead of locking them until the endgame or postgame, so it makes sense they would take more care integrating them into the music. And since they are there the whole time there's no need to try to match the final boss theme.
