I use it because it's just fun makes me feel like Yoshimitsu from tekken BUT I notice at my level I dont have enough points in Heart for it to wreck enemies. I played with someone who had 42 points in the dual sword stat and dude would hit Adds and take off rectangles of health in 2 nd a half hits they were dead but I like to have options when playing so my points are everywhere. It's pretty much a grind game for Amirita for now

For those looking for a different take on this that doesn't lock you into the Yatagarasu set and that requires very little investment, you can make a "sniping only" version of this build. By that I mean you won't be using your bow mid-combat like described in this video, which requires a high unlimited arrows investment and the auto-target weakpoint ability which you find in the Yatagarasu set, but you can still sneak through a level and snipe the crap out both humans and Yokai (one-shotting everything) while still having that heavy armor that you like or whatever other set bonus you want for when you fight bosses or even a different weapon then sword/katana. Basically you will need three things. First you just need 2-pieces from the Master Archer set (Golden Boy set bonus), which is all you will need armor-wise and includes dual swords and a bow, which is nice because a lot of sets don't include weapons, especially a ranged weapon as part of their set bonus, meaning you can very easily match this with other set bonuses as I mentioned above that are just armor only. You might be able to skip this if needed, but this will net you an easy, low cost 20% bow damage bonus for most people's set ups. Next, just like in this video's build 11:11, you need to be part of the Mohri Clan, which gives you 20% more bow bonus damage (combined with Master Archer's set will net you a total of +40% bonus damage with bows), +2 max arrows (including sacred arrows), and will give you +12 sacred arrows as a reward when you donate bows to the clan. This last one is huge because sacred arrows are rare and they do massive damage to Yokai, so donate all your bows that you can, except your very best Master Archer's Bow that you can equip for the set bonus. Lastly, and this is where the real fun starts, you will need to get a few Skills from Ninjutsu. First, is the skill that gives a chance to retrieve your arrows from enemies that die to a ranged shot. This includes sacred arrows. So if you one-shot a Yokai, you have a very high chance that you will be able to retrieve that sacred arrow and use it again. Then on top of that, and most important of all, you want the Eagle Eye scroll. This ability will increase damage based on how long you aim it at an enemy. When you use the scroll, a status icon will pop up with a number on it. When you aim it on an enemy that number will increase the longer you hold it on an enemy. It will go up to a max of five. This drastically increases damage but is useless mid fight because you can't hold it on a moving target. This Eagle Eye skill + sacred arrow + $40% bow damage bonus + (probably) weakpoint/back damage/sneak damage will mean you will pretty much one-shot all non-boss yokai in this game, and have a chance to retrieve the arrow and easily snipe your way through a stage. This is really great for taking out Dark Realm areas when you find the enemy with the red flowers trailing behind them and of course gankfest areas. You will still have to fight Boss enemies normally with melee and the occasional sneak enemy though so you still need to be good with melee. Also, this means you won't be gaining a lot of proficiency either, which is unfortunately the worst part, which is why it might be good to not over use it. As far as I know using a bow doesn't gain you any proficiency in anything. Edit: I lied, theirs' also damage bonus with bows from the Samurai Skill tree that you should probably get. It's mentioned in this video 6:15

Anybody else find Tempest to be worse in this game than the first? For whatever reason, the enemies just dont block as much here it feels like, so I never get to use it. Looks like Backwave II is the way to go this time around if I want the same effect

This is actually so similar to my lightning swordsman build I’ve been trying to develop. It’s taken two reincarnation books so far and I may need to respec again soon, but the stats are placed similarly. The difference? Heart is at 29 and skill at 25. Magic at 26 for the magic. (Con is at 14 for the master swordsman set)The magic is hitting decently hard but idk if I’m spreading myself too thin at this point. Any advice?

It's dropped in the First level of the Dawn area. Took me two runs to get the full set, and they're all blues. It's pretty bad ass. Quickdraw + Auto Aim weakspot is great. Also, I got it around level 70.

Level 1, build up to it and try to see what exact style this runs as and build it up even more... as for the Yatagarasu gear i think it is a Dojo reward for the missions... or something i just remember pulling an all nighter grinding up to this and the next day after getting chores and 6 hours of sleep i found it alongside a lot of new gear...

From what I'm seeing from players in game it seems almost everyone finds a single weapon to pour 40ish points into then works on side skills if this build doesnt hit home it's best to find what works for you if this isn't 100 to your liking once you try it

@@zurox4 I love the mechanics of that game, it flows and moves effortlessly. I love fluid movement, and it truly feels like "freedom" to fight any way I feel like I don't feel held back at all. I enjoy how all of the enemies can be completely exploited off of skill alone and they will still MURDER you if you mess up or get too cocky.....the A.I. Is actually smart or the patterns are fun idk....it challenges me every single time I pick up the sticks, I can say that this game is in the all time top 5 probably. and the story is amazing, I have close to 1000 if not over now, and I'm only on playthrough 7 or 8....the replay value for me is just through the roof. because I actually enjoy the bossfight. all of them just about, I wish I could fight owl and isshin for fun! I wish they would roam the map looking for you and you had to fight them whenever they popped up....even with other bosses. i'm fanboying rn....lol I can't wait for Elden ring because I know that this sekiro system is going to inspire that game heavily.......do you think that Nioh 2 has a system that can compare to Sekiro? or better?
