NIOH 2 - How to unlock NINJUTSU within the FIRST 10 MINUTES

To any newbies like me, this video is a good tip, but overall you’re better off practicing using the kusarigama because it also scales off dexterity just like ninjutsu. You are going to get a couple of ninja locks within the first region anyway, so you will still be able to unlock ninjutsu relatively quickly. The reason why I say you shouldn’t do this and just try and defeat the first few missions with the kusarigama instead is already evident in the video. For much of your first run, you will be able to carry only a handful of ninjutsu tools, definitely not enough to kill all the tough enemies and the boss in a single shrine load. That means you will need to be good at using weapons anyway. I promise you, you cannot go all in on ninjutsu or any build for that matter within your first 50 levels. You don’t have the stats or the equipment. The closest thing you can get to a “build” is either a spear or an axe build, because those weapons happen to scale with the things you need the most at the start: hit points for the spear, and endurance to wield heavier armor for the axe. But even then, you will still need to add points to other stats to meet armor requirements, as well as to have more ki, and yes, more ninjutsu and magic capacity. Trying to go all in on any other style as a newbie will make your first playthrough much harder. Considering that you can respec and save multiple builds on one character later on, there really is no reason to make your progression longer and harder.

Worked for me! I got shurikens on the first reset, and gunpowder bombs greatly sped up the process.

It's not that hard to level up Ninja. Once you go offline, just use the Gunpowder bombs. Rinse and repeat. Until you can use the Iga Ninja bombs then you wont have to worry about saving up devine rice. Every time you pray at a Shrine, your Iga Bombs will automatically replenish. Just have Iga Bombs in the shortcut menu. 😊

This must of been patched because once i finally was able to get shurikens after an hour after i used them and went back, it switched to arrows

before you sell loot, accumulate it, back out of game, upload saved data to cloud, then restart game, get divine rice and try. If it doesn't happen, back out, and redownload saved data from cloud not to cloud, and retry until you get it. ah never mind, he has better way with branch

Honestly I really appreciate this video but I had already been grinding on this map for awhile but just didnt understand how to start the jujitsu when i was already using the dex weapon/ leveling dex mainly so i actually kinda already had like 17640 armita Luckily tho after using that hunter blessing I got enough rice went n checked n realized the bombs were in my first go into the level! Lucky me!😁🥳

Doesn't seem to work on PS5. Followed your helpful guide but when I quit and re-enter the mission the items you can buy from the kodama bizzare rarely changes. After 2 hours I didn't get anything I needed.

Think this has been nerfed in version 1.27 restarted the mission at least 50 times but no shuriken or bombs popped up anymore

Hey just so you know, this doesn't work anymore. Been resetting repeatedly for 2 and a half hours and the same 4 items are always in the bazaar: Elixir, Stones, Arrows, and Ochoko Cups

ninja skill such kunai, shuriken and etc. Ninjutsu only can melt the boss so easy with max dex and flying Kato set. For new player after you be able to forge Fuma ninja set craft it and try to max out you dex. You can use and keep forge this set or shinobi set until you complete the dream of Samurai

Did it show the items eventually?? You could have probably got it normally in that time. If it's that rare now, it may be better to just delete your whole game save each time. Whatever you get to begin with may change more often if it's a completely New Game each time rather than just sticking in the same playthrough like this. Just a thought

Im still at the first mission, trying out various weapons and stuff. Did a few title screen quits and after around 10 reloads i finally got the lightning amulets. I saw bombs, shurikens and some lanterns too (but i only wanted some magic). So it kinda still works.

how is a video 12 minutes long to explain you how to get something in 10 minutes, thats ridiculous. Way too much trouble doing this, just buy some bombs when you unlock the shop, find some locks and use everything on the way.
