Gasha-Dokuro. "Rattling Skull". These massive skeletons wander the countryside at night, constantly emitting the sound of bones scraping against each other. They have no need to eat, but will sometimes consume humans for the sake of doing it. A Gasha-Dokuro can be spawned in sites where many people did not receive a proper funeral, causing the spirits to bind together with an esteemed hatred for the living.

@@njb.2297 well titanium is wrong and right, since a gashadokuro is made out of thousands of human souls that died of starvation, the gashadokuro doesn't need to eat but is always starving for human blood, it can only be blood fresh from the body though.

Gashadokuro is one of my favorite yokai. Interestingly enough if it was closer to the mythology it would be even MORE difficult to defeat.

WillieManga Also known as the "starving skeleton", its a spirit made from the amassed bones of those who died of starvation. Apparently they like to bite the heads off of people just for the sake of biting their heads off. lol

For ppl who dont know ghasadokuro story : Ghasadokuro is Mytology japan made of bone of people who died at war or their dead body didnt get buried,until their souls Decide to merge and Become giant skeleton ghasadokuro or Starved Giant Skeleton they wil grab and bite you to drink bloods.

Does anyone know if this boss has an insta death mechanic where it bites William's head off? Sounds morbid, but when I think of Gashadokuro, the most iconic part of it's lore is how it bites it's victim's head off and drink it's blood. Seeing so many other boss fights in this game have insta death moves, it's weird how Gashadokuro doesn't have one especially if they're trying to stick to source material.

just got my hands on Nioh 1 & 2 and I want to rush Nioh 1 story so I can start 2 and have more leisure playing it, but I can't get pass this boss, I'm underlevel and amrita is so hard get and not to mention that getting killed constantly will lost all the amrita I farm.

Amrita is not hard to get. Do the Giant Frog Brawl mission in the Tokai region, which is pretty easy and will take around a minute, and you'll get over 3 million amrita per hour.

It kind of is, I mean Dark Souls 3 is supposed to be the last Dark Souls, But Tecnically Bloodborne was the next Dark Souls because it came before Nioh and is made by the same Studio, Nioh is more a combinaton of Ninja Gaiden and Dark Souls.
