Many Many years ago (mid 80s) I travelled with Nipper, Charlie & Lawrance. Back then, they owned an Amusement Arcade, a Helter Skelter, a Ghost Train & a Twist (PWS Sizzler). Debbie was in her mid 20s and was sound. Not forgetting Keely, who was approching her teens... She was funny, and we used to go in Lawrances Arcade & play 'Ghosts & Goblins' until Lawrance turned off the set. I shouldn't think they would remember me (Ian), But I remember them..... Nipper has barely changed since then. He was always the level headed one in the family, and judging by what i've just seen, Nothing has changed. So..... HAPPY 80th Nipper - You have always been a Gentleman & a much loved & respected Showman. Long may it continue. xx

I grew up following JW shaws and Silcocks In my teenage years.. always had great respect for what they did..loved the banter of the Gaff lads It was a golden time of the 70s .. now as he says has to be a business….rather than a way of life..Hope it survives without too much A I creeping in managing the repartee and connection to the punters. Wishing them all well.❤
